I love this brush. It’s not great for detangling, but it wasn’t designed for that. It works great for defining my curls and giving them more volume. I’ve used many methods and this brush is by far my favorite. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it, but it’s really quick once you get it! My curls are really popping lately. Watch the TikToks to learn how to use it! To everyone who says it isn’t sturdy - it feels pretty hefty without being heavy. I haven’t broke mine - but I haven’t hurled it across the room either. I don’t know why it wouldn’t hold up with NORMAL use. Product does get in it, but I just use a little dawn power wash and warm water and it cleans up really well.

I couldn’t believe the difference this brush made and that it ACTUALLY worked like it said it was going to! I’ve always had long, curly hair but it has gone through phases throughout my life where it’s been super curly with thin spiral curls, super curly with bigger banana curls, and like now where it’s been more wavy, which is why I cut it much shorter. I’d been kinda disappointed in my hair lately as I felt like it wouldn’t do ANYTHING. It was just kinda wavy ish and I’m used to curls so I haven’t known what to even do with it. My 12 year old niece has super curly hair and told me about this brush and told me I absolutely HAD to buy it and that it would change everything! I was skeptical because her hair is so much curlier than mine. Plus, when I saw what it looked like, it looked a lot like another “curly hairbrush” I had already bought with the ridges on the side. What got me interested was all the talk about volume and seeing all of the very many tiny black bristles it had. My other curly brush did not have those at all. The reviews were great so I thought, why not? I did my hair routine exactly as I always do, using a wet brush in the shower to comb the conditioner through and rinse out, detangling in the process. When I got out, I put my hair up in a towel for about 30 seconds, brushed it out with this brush in the way I always do (I didn’t use the side ridges really at all. Just the main bristles part), put my Curl Scrunch hair gel in as usual, brushed the gel through my hair with this brush, scrunched a bit and then continued to scrunch a bit here and there on and off until it was dry. I couldn’t believe the difference! My curls had come back! I had big, chunky,bouncy, voluminous curls! This brush is my new best friend. Totally worth the money.

Substantial brush - not flimsy at all - which is good given the higher price. Works well to separate may fine, permed hair into individual curls, creating definition. The concept is straightforward and not difficult to pick up. It can be challenging to use on the back of the head with long hair, but it gets easier with practice.

Ordered this Curl Volume brush, but didn't think it would make a difference from the one already so popular. How wrong I was!!! I have naturally curly already, but it's very thick the curls seem flat. After trying this brush and seeing how well it works, I have to change my thinking. It lifts, separates and curls while adding the volume I need - works very well.

Tried this out because of a tiktok influencer. This brush is actually a game changer. I like to do the bare minimum for my curly hair, and even just changing to this brush has made a difference in my curl definition. It feels solid and well made. Will make this a staple in my hair routine.

The brush is a very good brush to define curls. It’s definitely worth the money. It’s better when running through wet or conditioned hair. I felt comfortable when using the brush.

I love bounce curl products and I was intrigued by this brush. I decided to not be an early adopter of the define brush, especially when I heard she was developing different versions. when the volume brush dropped, I was in and just needed a sale. I have used the brush twice now and have mixed feelings. I am used to brush styling with my tangle teezer, but this brush takes some practice. the first time my hair was pretty frizzy, especially in the back according to my sister. the second time, I made sure my hair was really wet, which seemed to help with getting more defined clumps near my roots. I typically do my cream, gel and then brush style. I feel like the bristles of this brush may brush out some product, so I reapply gel after with this too. I don’t have that issue with the tangle teezer since it is all plastic. I do feel like my curls are better defined from root to end, where with the tangle teezer I had more clumping of curls where I had to go through and separate after breaking the cast and throughout the week. however, I do not feel as though I get as many ringlets. maybe I actually need the define brush to get the results I want? I also do not feel as though this brush gives me any more volume than before. can’t say at this point the brush will stay in rotation, but will keep playing around with it. given the price and results so far, it is not a brush I would say is a must have.

Absolutely love my Bounce Curl Volume Brush! Does EXACTLY what is promises to, creates wonderful volume for my curls.

This brush changed my hair game! It not only changed how easy it is to tame my curls but also made them last longer. Now I can go up to day 4 easily without redoing my hair.
