CSDC MacDrive 9 Standard for Windows

Activating it usually doesn't work so you have a time limit ,but while it is up it works good.

I was in a pinch as PC user working a product for a customer who uses a MAC. When I received an external hard drive and plugged it in to my USB on PC, I was quickly awakened to the problem before me. I did a quick Google search and found MacDrive9 and it was just the tool I needed making it a seamless operation. Without MacDrive9, I was dead in the water. As it turned out, a fellow visual effects person from Britain also uses MacDrive9! Great product, 5 stars.

I installed Macdrive last week and having troubles. It is not working as advertised. I want to access my iMac drive from my Boot Camp Windows 7 partition however I cannot. I have contacted technical support and then asked me to download the diagnostic to understand the problem. So far this is nothing but a big hassle and I did not get what I paid for. Will report back after the folks at Mac drive take a look at the diagnostic and hopefully help me resolve this problem. Why can't stuff work right the first time and as advertised! What a hassle!

I currently work on both my macbook pro and my built pc and i have to go back and forth with all my external drives. This has saved my life. I have it installed at work and at home.

Whenever I read negative product reviews stating how horrible a product is, I always think "they got a lemon. I'll get a properly functioning product." So I ignored the negative reviews and bought this software. Well, it crashed my computer completely within 12 hours! I purchased this software to use the same Pro Tools session on a 2014 imac and a windows 8.1 PC. This software was suggested to me by the Pro Tools manufacturer, Avid. Whenever i'd open up a Pro Tools session from a HFS+ external drive, I would get a blue screen and the computer would restart automatically. It kept doing this until finally my computer wouldn't even reboot anymore. I called Lenovo tech support and they said I had to restore my computer to default settings. I couldn't even do a system restore because it corrupted a file needed to boot up the computer. So I just lost 6,000 songs, hundreds of photos, dozens of documents.....so frustrating! I have everything backed up on an external Toshiba drive, but as of now, Windows won't recognize the files. Stay away from Macdrive. It may work for simple files like jpegs and mp3s, but it sure didn't work for Pro Tools files. How can they sell this???

Works good. Use it to get data off Mac Computers that are no longer functioning (but the hard drive still works).

Bought this software roughly a year ago and paid $59.99. From the get go with a clean install Windows 8.1 would have issues trying to read/index the Mac partition and Task Manager would show 100% disk usage, slowing down the system.Upon upgrading to Windows 10 I discovered that MacDrive 9 is not supported and shortly after found that MediaFour had released a new version called MacDrive 10 and expected me to pay $30 to upgrade. This is a poor way to treat your customers, creating limited functionality and forcing customers to pay money to upgrade. This is just so you can use one feature in the app, writing to the Mac partition. The operating system was a free upgrade but you expect me to shell out an additional $30 just to use the software? Basically it's a trap and MediaFour is bullying customers into shelling out more money.I contacted MediaFour and sent them my key and purchase date hoping I could at least get a discount. In short their response was "tough luck". I will never purchase software from this company again.
