it gets kind of hot compared to the original...it is not an OLED, like the original was...I doubt it's as waterproof as it was before...I used it to get an old broken phone unlocked long enough to get some data off of it. It worked great for this. I would not recommend this as a long-term solution

*I don’t write many reviews but this is really bothering me now & I feel like i need to share my experience with others.A friend of mine just started having the same issue yesterday with their first purchase from this same seller.So let’s talk about this product, shall we?Works when it wants but sometimes just stops working altogether for hours.Other times, I can only open an app if there’s a notification for said app on the Lock Screen (which is where I’m at now with my current purchase)and of course my return window closed YESTERDAY.If I’m lucky, I can turn off the screen, wake it back up and have it work for a few minutes.Fun right?I thought maybe I just got a couple bad ones…so I gave this seller another 2 chances.My fault!Imagine you’re a single income household(single parent) & you’ve used the last of your available funds to purchase this screen because your phone is NEEDED for work, to make money, & pay bills….Imagine you travel for work, you NEED GPS, and your screen stops working in a strange place. What then?A *small* item can REALLY have a negative impact on someones daily life and the fact that others don’t consider this is disappointing but not surprising.I do not recommend.Hopefully this was an honest mistake on sellers part ( maybe they bought a bad lot) but how would we ever know? :/

Not OEM quality but this screen does work on an iPhone. My iPhone 14 Pro Max had the screen short out due to water in getting into the phone and the Apple Store said they wouldn’t touch it (don’t know what that would’ve cost) Local shop wanted $300 to fix and I was planning to get a new phone soon so didn’t want to pay that. My screen was completely shot. Couldn’t even see to backup the phone. This screen is definitely LCD and 60hz. Not the 120hz OLED I’m used to. Also as another reviewer said the sensor for the auto display brightness is blocked off so you have to manually change it. This causes the battery to drain faster along with the screen probably uses more power. But for less than $50 and 15 minutes to change out I’ll give it 4 stars. Allows me to backup my phone and use it until I can decide when I want to upgrade rather than be forced to buy a new phone. Just be aware it can be tricky to click the new screen back on the phone so most issues I saw of people claiming it doesn’t fit is probably them damaging the clips that hook it back in and this screen is just a hair thicker so there is a small amount of glass that comes out past the metal bezel. Still fit in any of my cases though. Also this does set off a notification in the general settings for an aftermarket screen so if you want to get this to fix a damaged screen to try and trade in as like new that won’t work. Just FYI

As others have mentioned, it's a cheap screen and works like one. Maybe good if you're not going to keep your phone. Mine sometimes glitches the display to show multiple screens, has bad contrast, gets hot and drains the battery faster. Sometimes laggy and doesn't respond to input. LCD doesn't go all the way to the bottom of frame. It's also thicker so it doesn't sit flush to the frame like original screen. EDIT: it’s gotten worse. sometimes i cannot slide to unlock the phone. sometimes it starts doing random input and typing on its own. don’t waste your money

Brought this screen two times. 1 in 2020 which lasted about 4 years. And another 6 months ago. Both had the same reason why I had to change them. *Dead Pixels*. The first one I dropped my phone at work with a really good case on it and over time I started to notice a horizontal white line. The screen was not sensing my touch on after that so I brought another phone and replaced the screen using the same brand. The second one didn't even last a year. And it turned out worse then the first. I can't even unlock my phone since I don't have face rec on due to the fact I work in a freezer at work and need my phone to scan inventory. Was doing that in 32 degree cold and noticed my phone turned intoned face from batman. These are not the best screens for cold environments is what I have begun to learn. When ever imbibe the freezer I was worried it brake because I would see black lines on my screen until it warmed up now I can't even log in because the screens lonely half functioning. Good if you don't work in extreme cold but honestly not for me. Durability:Not good for cold temp under 32 degrees FahrenheitBrightness:Not that bright but manageableWhy did you pick this product vs others?:I brought it before and it was ok till I started working in a freezer.Phone protection:Very delicate to cold temp
