Best protein bar out there - Huberman recommended
Best macros, best taste, best in a low blood sugar pinch. I eat 1200 calories and 127 g of protein a day and this bar helps me meet those goals. This partially melts in my Jeep in the summer, but the taste doesn’t change.

Good bars, not for all
I like these in the chocolate and salted peanut flavors. Other than that, the artificial sugar taste (sugar alcohol) is overwhelming to me, and gives me digestion difficulties, to leave it at that. I think they are good products for what they are, however pricey. The texture is about as good as it's gonna get. Be aware that there is zero fiber provided with these. The crunchier ones are the least sticky, and also have less of a greasy outside feel (like others have mentioned). As always, if you have the money, enjoy. I will go back to comparable in quality, yet much cheaper, and affordable.

David, how could you?
I first tried David bars last year sometime when they first came out, and did enjoy them, though didn’t reorder because of the price. But lately I’ve been seeing a bunch of ads for them which put them back on my radar, so decided to order the variety pack to try them again. The good news? They all tasted amazing. I loved the taste, especially the salted peanut butter. The texture was absolutely awesome, just about the best bar I’ve ever tried. I admit the blueberry tasted nothing at all like blueberry but was tasty in its own right as long as you didn’t think of it as blueberry. I was all ready to look into seeing if there were sample packs of the cinnamon roll and the red velvet, the two flavors i hadn’t tried. But then the bad news. :-( I had checked ingredients when I bought them last year but hadn’t bothered to recheck again with this new batch, but when I did I found they now contain maltitol, sucralose, and ace-K. I will never willingly touch maltitol ever! What a bummer. I’m so disappointed. Not to mention, I’m also T2 diabetic and these bars raise my BG by 30-40 points. So, sadly, I won’t be ordering David again unless things change. But keeping it 3 stars since taste and texture is amazing and if you want a good protein hit and don’t mind the new sweeteners you might be happy with these bars.

HIgh protien with few calories...a winning combo!
Packs a lot of protein in few calories. These are not the best tasting bar I have ever had, but they are most nutritious with the highest amount of protein and least amount of calories. They don't have sugar, hence the lower delisiousness, but I will easily trade a bit less taste for the low calorie - high protein combo. That is not to say that are not tasty at all, just not scrumptious. The texture is soft, which some may not like, but for me it is fine. They are surprisiingly filling for such low calorie density.

Perfect Balance of High Protein, Low Calories, and Great Flavor!
I’ve tried a lot of protein bars, and the David Protein Bar Variety Pack is easily one of the best I’ve had. Each bar is packed with 28g of protein while staying at just 150 calories, making it an incredible option for anyone looking to build muscle or stay on track with their fitness goals without unnecessary calories. Plus, with 0g of sugar and low fat and carbs, these bars are a great choice for maintaining steady blood sugar levels—no sugar crashes here! The flavors in this pack are fantastic. My personal favorites are fudge brownie and salted peanut butter, which both taste rich and satisfying without being overly sweet. The blueberry pie and cake batter are surprisingly good too, especially if you want something a little different from the usual chocolate-based bars. The texture is soft and chewy, which makes them easy to eat—none of that chalky or tough consistency you find in some other protein bars.I also appreciate that these are gluten-free, making them a solid choice for those with dietary restrictions. Whether you need a post-workout snack or a quick, high-protein option on the go, this variety pack delivers on both taste and nutrition. Definitely a staple in my pantry now!

Decent taste but Not as shown, bars did not come in box - but wrapped in tin foil
This very expensive variety pack has some interesting flavors. I had the cake batter today. It is good but very similar to the cookie dough flavor. Fudge brownie is my favorite flavor thus far. These arrived in a plastic envelope, wrapped in tin foil and some were crushed. It is clear the different bars were handpicked (probably from a reject pile) then sold at a very high price. Very unprofessional presentation. For more than $5 per bar this should be done better. I do not recommend David’s Variety pack.
