To start, this device is so cool! The technology packed into this camera drone is incredible. Lightweight and very, very capable as a professional quality camera paired with truly impressive robotics and autonomous flight technology- the X1 Pro Max will keep athletes and photography enthusiasts alike very satisfied. I was truly impressed with the video quality, but also the sound quality. The noise cancelling built into the application is equally special. You can be 3 feet from this very powerful little drone hovering and maneuvering in the space around you and hear only your voice recorded through your mobile device microphone (running the Hover app). If you're like me and have been considering getting one of these- it's time to make the purchase. You're going to really enjoy capturing moments from all angles and elevations with this device. But perhaps most important is the Hoverair customer service and the Hovercare protection plan. Do not pass on the opportunity to protect your device! I had a "flyaway incident" that was fully covered under the Ts&Cs and the team was incredible! The agents were so responsive to all my questions (and skepticism) about the plan and coverage. I'm talking responses to my questions within just hours. You will be so glad you protected your device. I saved so much money over buying a whole new unit. Brand New replacement shipped right to my door just days later (with a quick, very reasonable and secure replacement fee). The device is amazing! But the company's service level is what sets this whole package aside from competitors. I feel very comfortable pushing my creative use cases to the limits because the drone can definitely handle anything I put it through. And any accident or damage that occurs I know will be covered by Hovercare. Absolutely recommend.

Wow — this drone is truly impressive! It’s incredibly compact and portable, yet packed with powerful features. It handles moderate wind with ease, follows me accurately, and offers reliable obstacle avoidance. The onboard AI is especially impressive — it enables smart tracking and intelligent flight adjustments that make capturing great footage effortless. The companion app is intuitive and feature-rich, and the video quality is exceptionally sharp and clear. The voice-active noise cancellation—whether using your phone, earbuds, microphone, or the beacon—is truly remarkable. There is a bit of a learning curve, but plenty of user adjustments allow you to tailor the experience to your preferences. I’m excited to take the HOVER Air on vacation and capture stunning selfies. Highly recommended — and for extra peace of mind, I suggest adding HOVERCare.

Great little drone! Works better then the DJI I had and does moreover! Would highly recommend if you want a drone!

Really fun drone. It's tiny and manageable and really fun to use with the different modalities that it has, either the controller or the joystick or just with the beacon. Low battery life is the only thing I'd complain about, but for a drone so small and for the use case, it's pretty good for me.

The HOVERAir X1 PROMAX delivers impressive performance, particularly regarding its 8K video output and flight stability. The image quality is truly excellent for a foldable drone of this size. I have observed that the battery tends to discharge faster than expected when not in use, so I recommend monitoring charge levels closely between sessions. Additionally, while the mobile app connectivity can be inconsistent, the experience is significantly improved when using the dedicated joystick controller, which provides a much more stable and reliable connection. Overall, it’s a high-performing action camera that excels with the right peripheral setup.

Missing the extra battery, and it does not power on. There's no replacement option so I have to return and order a new one. I will keep this 1star until I get the new one and maybe it will be better update: surprisingly, second one also has dead battery. not surprising enough is that it didn't came with the extra battery again. After seeing that Amazon can't provide the freebie, I went to Hover's website and their Pro Max standard is now "out of stock". So no more 2nd option for me to get that extra battery. Amazon should fix their (1) Photo because it clearly shows the extra battery, and (2) the description on "what's in the box" because it obviously says the additional battery. This is my single most disappointing purchase on Amazon ever. And I even backed up the HoverAir's aqua version. I hope that one's not a dud. Nonetheless, I'll be returning the 2nd puchase as well.

My husband LOVES his new drone! It's his new favorite toy to take when we explore the outdoors. The video quality is great and videos are easy to transfer onto phone.

Overall good but the latest hover app which I installed on S22 Samsung Ultra is not showing up the Custom Mode with Gestures - I dont know how is this going to be fixed

The Hover X series is absolutely amazing. I had the original and loved it, recently purchasing the new max air im even more blown away. There products are high quality and durable. They get the perfect pro shot everytime without being anywhere close to pro drone pilot. There customer service is beyond Triple A+ they have been nothing but kind and helpful anytime I've had question or needed anything I highly recommend them.

Ho rotto il salvadanaio e mi sono fatto un regalone !!! Si, diciamo che la spesa non è proprio economica ma ne è valsa la pena. Il drone è divertente e intuitivo,ci vuole un po' di pratica per usarlo con il joystick ma piano piano si può fare. I voli programmati sono già molto belli e coprono una vasta gamma di situazioni. Finalmente un drone che mi segue in bici ! Ho provato in varie situazioni boschive fino all'estremo e purtroppo una era troppo estremo.... Infatti il drone è andato in collisione con un alberello, ma il danno c'è stato. A questo punto è entrato in gioco il supporto tecnico della Hover. Praticamente siamo stati in contatto giornalmente prima e dopo aver inviato il drone in assistenza (grazie Jane). Dopo circa una ventina di giorni il drone è ritornato come nuovo, sostituito un motore perché la botta è stata forte,ma tutto il resto è rimasto inalterato. Grazie al fatto che avevo acquistato anche la Hover care per due anni, il costo è stato di per sé irrisorio e le spese di invio e ricezione gratuite. Quindi consiglio di acquistare anche la Hover care. Posso dire che il drone comunque è un ottimo prodotto, divertente,versatile e comodo da trasportare. Il supporto tecnico impeccabile,sempre disponibile con informazioni, aggiornamenti e consigli,sono rimasto molto soddisfatto di questo perché ho trascorso il periodo di attesa molto più serenamente senza stress per rincorrere interlocutori che nn rispondono.... Pertanto do 5 stelle perché il supporto tecnico è ottimo, perché il drone merita di essere acquistato, perché.....non posso più farne a meno ;-)

This drone doesn't require much training to operate because there are a variety of preprogrammed modes that would meet the need for most people in taking great scenics photos.

Fantastic product and top quality. Had a small issue but the customer service was excellent and it was resolved very quickly. I am more than happy with this purchase. The drone itself is easy to set up a use, and the quality is fantastic. If you are doing simple drone work it’s perfect, especially the automatic follow features. I am using it for cycling, but have also used it for commercial work for short video clips to splice in.
