Saxophone case.
I bought this for my grandson. According to him it's easier to carry. He can carry with the handle or backpack. Durable and compact. Yet still protection of his saxophone 🎷. Only drawback is does not have storage for sheet music unless folded.

Light weight and attractive case
There is not much there on the market for saxophone cases. I tried purchasing some other cases (the cases never arrived, money was returned after about 2 months). This was the only case that was delivered. It is good quality case. We do not use the shoulder strip, it works fine without it.

Sax-shaped backpack rather than case
I'd rather call this a backpack shaped like a saxophone instead of a "case". It doesn't have inner padding/mold to hold the sax snuggly in place. The package arrived with the bag folded in half (-1 star, denting it initially), and came with a separate piece of black inner lining, which I had to figure out what it was for (extra padding for the horn). Other than that, seems sturdy enough to stand on it's own (leaning with the studs towards the floor) or lay on its side. Minor usability comment: hard to put the sax in when the horn has to go inside first, you'll have to squeeze in a bit when getting it out as well.Bought this on a whim when the handle of my hard case snapped in the middle of the road on the way for practice. Will probably (probably not) update my review once I actually use the bag to practice.

PRO REVIEW HERE
This review is for pros and parents since I didn’t see many posts from any. 32 years of experience here. Just received product. Material - well made; sturdy canvas material and zippers; rubber foot pads look thick and durable; leather squares stitched to nylon connections for straps (just for looks); leather pad where “Jinchuan” logo is stamped; leather strap on handles; handles and brown strip over side pouch is vinyl. Pouch has some padding and is about 2” wide - plenty room for accessories. Will not put neck here. Will wrap in cloth and insert in bell. Main compartment has thicker padding all around. Additional padded support for side wall to be inserted (obvious how to insert) adds shape support to bag. Great product for price. My purpose was an upcoming flight for my ‘95 Super Action 80 Series II so I can carry-on. Don’t want to check my case and risk damage or lose. Now, to all the parents wanting to get a “gig bag” for their child in school. This is a gig bag designed for professionals who need an easier case to tote around their delicate source of income. It will serve me well because I know how to take care of my equipment. This is not for a kid to carry to school everyday unless they are mature and responsible and care about their ax. As careful as I was in school, I, myself, would have opted not to use a gig bag. You can’t carelessly drop this on the floor or leave unattended amongst a bunch of school-aged kids. Any sax in any case other than a hard case can easily become damaged if not properly handled or cared for. Those who posted that they could not figure out what to do with the extra padding - all I can assume is their lives must be more difficult than others.

Hauling My Sax Relief
Granddaughter not provided with a locker at school due to COVID. Had to carry all of her books, tablet and sax to all of her classes for the entire day. Being able to transport her sax in an attractive light, over the shoulder bag was a great relief. It was a birthday present and she loved it. It will work well even when this pandemic is over.

Good
Good backpack, thick and sturdy, could use more padding in my opinion. It comes with an extra padding long piece which goes on bottom for the horn. For those complaining that it doesn't close, the horn goes down and not on the zipper side.Side zip compartment perfect for reeds, cleaning tools, etc. This is for my h.s freshmen son who has been playing alto sax since 4th grade, his case finally needed to be replaced. My son is careful and takes care of his saxophone, Overall a good purchase. If buying for a kid who isn't careful- this might not be a good purchase.

Zero Protection
Nice case, looks good, is light weight, but offers zero padding or protection for your saxophone. Where the handle is located puts the bell on the bottom of the case, so if you set it down or drop it, your bell will bend like my son's sax bell did. Now we are looking at a hundred dollar repair.
