I am a firm believer in using a dash cam and have been using one in my vehicle for years, but as I have just changed my vehicle, I decided that I was due a new dash cam.I did quite a bit of research and all the information I found recommended getting a dash cam with the Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, the Omni 4K ticks this box and many others.Installation was very easy with a special electrostatic sheet which has markings for exactly where you need to stick the dash cam.One of the big selling points for me was the use of a capacitor rather than a battery for power, this means the dash cam can operate in higher temperatures, ideal when used in a car on a sunny day.I also used the 70mai hardwire kit which allows me to use the parking sentry mode, this is great as it will actively track a person if they are hanging around the vehicle and record the footage for later review. There is a 4G kit which will even alert you at the time via the App but I didn't get this kit.The companion App is very comprehensive but still easy to use, with all recording being stored in different folders and various settings being accessible without having to dig through menus on the dash cam itself.Another really nice feature is the voice control which allows you to get the dash cam to record other directions besides the usual front view, ideal if someone is trying to push in on you from one side, or even for getting a photo of you and your passengers.So the big question is how is the quality, well as you would expect from a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor it is excellent with registration plates being easily readable, even in low light.Overall, a fantastic feature rich dash cam with excellent video quality.

It’s no doubt a larger than a usual dashcam and in order to use the rotating features you’ll have to mount it a bit lower than usual in order for the lense to be able to see in all directions. If you don’t mind one of Gru’s minions in a tuxedo stuck upside down to windshield this is a great dash cam. Picture quality is great and although the filming in different directions may seem like a gimmick you may never use, I recently had a situation where a fight and stabbing was happening next to my car just out of shot hence I do like to have the option to tell it to film left or right.4K quality is great with the 4g HW kit and a sim remote access is sweet! Night vision recordings are also much clearer and dynamic than my previous cameras.I’m thinking about getting another for my other car as a well. Recommended.

I fitted this kit with 4G hardwire kit and I need to say, that it is great! Night video or picture quality is great! You can check your car remotely inside and outside thanks to 360 head - great ides btw. Really good piece of kit!

Excellent item, easy to install, calibrated and setup process. Retrieve video via their app is simple as well.

It works really well!

Been using this dash cam for a couple of weeks now and really rate it. The 360° rotating lens is proper useful – covers the front, sides, and even inside the car if needed. The 4K front and 1080p rear footage is sharp, even at night. Number plates are clear and there’s no weird glare from headlights.The motion tracking while parked is smart – it actually turns to face where movement or bumps come from. You’ll need the hardwire kit for that to work properly 24/7 though.Wi-Fi 6 makes transferring clips to your phone quick and easy. The app’s decent and fairly straightforward. Voice control works well too, which is handy while driving.A few small niggles – the camera is a bit bulky and sits quite low on the windscreen, which might annoy some. And if you're using parking mode, make sure you set the voltage cut-off so your car battery doesn’t get drained.It also comes with a 128GB SD card, which saves having to buy one separately.Summary:Not the cheapest, but worth the money for the features. Solid build, excellent footage, and decent peace of mind.

Parking survalence does not happen quickly enough on detection for instance I can walk up to my car scratch the entire side pretend to then turn walk away then the camera wakes up having missed the entire event only just catching me walking away. I bought this so called smart cam to catch the person scratching my car it doesn’t do what it says on the box 😢
