Laura Scudder's All Natural Nutty Peanut Butter, 16 oz. Jar

Love this peanut butter! We used to buy Trader Joe's natural peanut butter years ago but stopped when they switched to a plastic container. We switched to Laura Scudder's and haven't looked back! Extremely happy with this product. Love the peanut butter and the glass jar, which we reuse and/or recycle!

This comes at room temperature so the oil. needs to be stirred into it well to get it blended to use. Once it is blended I store it in my refrigerator so it doesn't separate. I like that this only has one ingredient, peanuts. No added sugar, salt, or unhealthy oils. Those are smoother off the shelf but I like to eat healthily so I buy brands like this that just contain peanuts. It is reasonably smooth, being refrigerated makes it harder to spread thar if kept at room temerature but not wanting to stir it each use I am OK with that.To me it tastes fine,like peanuts. If the old major brand was as healthy I would buy that.I prefer to eat healthily and I use it to make PB and J sandwiches and think they taste fine.Read labels when comparing products, decide how important your health is and chose foods that match what you want.

Simple ingredients with an incredible taste. You don't have to worry about ingesting something that isn't good for your body. It goes great with sliced Apple wedges.

Most natural peanut butters are nearly impossible to stir the oil back into, and you have to stir it every time. Scudder's stirs surprisingly easily, and I only had to stir it twice, first upon opening and then after I got about halfway through it. Highly recommend, and will definitely buy again.

This is not only one of the cheapest natural PB brands I've tried, but it is now my favorite. Every other brand I've tried is either unsalted or too salty. This one tastes exactly like the roasted peanuts you'd buy for snacking, which is what peanut butter SHOULD taste like. Mine took a lot of effort to stir the oil into, but I alleviate some of this by storing the unopened jar upside down for a day or two before mixing.

Amazon can't keep any brand of organic crunchy peanut butter in stock, and since I had finished my last jar, and since Amazon Fresh won't carry Laura Scudder's organic peanut butter, I purchased this as a 2nd choice. It's okay, kind of like upscale Jif without the emulsifiers or the sugar, so you do have to stir it. However, it's not organic, the flavor tastes somewhat processed (though not bad), and the "less than 1% salt" still tastes really over-salted to me. If I don't think my peanut butter is salty enough, I can simply salt it myself, but once the manufacturer salts it, it's impossible to remove the excess. How about letting me decide how much salt I want to add, instead of you telling me? I liked that it had no added sugar and came in a glass jar, but I won't buy this again unless I can't find organic crunchy unsalted peanut butter again. UPDATE: A week later, still nothing whatsoever on Amazon.

Safeway near me stopped selling. I will boycott Safeway. Nearly every other peanut butter brand tastes like crap and is made from it too. The ingredients contain preservatives that are known damage intestinal lining over time. I am just beyond happy with this peanut butter.

See title. Just hope if it's N-GMO & Organic, if possible, although then it might be a bit pricey. Better than many other brands. Might hv tasted it b4, but since normally always bought other brands' Organic ones (creaming, oily running & no taste, no choice for crunchy) then forgot abt this brand for long.
