Excellent for £24.99
Excellent for the price I paid of £24.99. Powerful and feels good quality. Happy to leave the first 5* review. The only possible negative is that it’s too powerful for a ‘light’ whisk, even on lowest setting. It can go everywhere butttt that’s fixed if you use the tall jug included. I’d definitely recommend this

Solid Hand Blender, with one small caveat
This Andrew James hand blender is generally a very good purchase, especially considering the price point. It's incredibly easy to use, feels robust with its metal shaft, and comes with a decent set of attachments that handle most tasks very well. However, where it slightly lets itself down is with the chopper attachment. The blades don't seem to be close enough to the bottom of the container, which means you often need to add more liquid or ingredients than you'd expect for the blades to properly engage. I found this particularly challenging when trying to blend avocado for guacamole, it required a lot of scraping down the sides and adding extra liquid to get it going. For this reason, I'm giving it 4 stars. Everything else works very well, making it a valuable tool in the kitchen, but be prepared to adjust your expectations (or your recipes) when using the chopper for smaller, thicker quantities.

worth getting? yes. Worth upgrading to? maybe not
A nice simple, but powerful refresh of their core blender product. The chopper has been redesigned to have a gear down for blade speed, and a one piece spindle, though theat does mean the blades dont quite lift product from the bottom as well as their older ones.I have to say the blend stick, whilst it stands better, does not catch everything in a saucepan as well as their older models. The digital display/power selector does not give me the same confidence as the old twist knob, but being able to set a 30 second timer, and to lock the blender probably helps if you've got kids in the kitchen.Have not tried the milk frother yet, but that seems like a tiny tool to stick on such a big motor

Thin plastic
The plastic parts are thin and feel weak.

Must have for the kitchen
Excellent over moon best hand mixer and chopper I've owned. I've owned many, quality of mix the speed . My deserts are lightest smoothest they've ever been.

Good, but is it an improvement?
This replaces an Andrew James hand blender I've used for ten years. That had been a surpassingly good device that made me want to replace it with the updated model. It looks as though they have cut back on the robustness of build. never mind its only for home use and if I get ten years out of this one its worth the money.

Good value for money
Haven’t used it much but so far I’m happy with it
