Great sound, very lightweight buds at a great price
These are the first clip style earbuds that I have purchased. They were received packaged well and in great shape. Pairing them with my phone and TV was very easy and fast. These are very lightweight and small and attach very easily. They are extremely comfortable and stay attached very securely. The case is very compact and easily fits in your pocket. The sound quality is very good, voices are very clear and balanced and the volume is more than enough for me. Wearing these allow you to interact with people around you while still cancelling out some of the background noise. Charging is fast and they last a long time and have great range.Overall this is a great pair of buds for the price and I am very pleased with them. I own many other types of earbuds and these are by far the most comfortable and seem to be very durable. The sound quality is impressive for their size and compares favorably with other earbud types. I considered Bose at a much higher price but I can't imagine them being worth that much more than the Bose. Pick up a set, you won't be disappointed.

Lightweight, crisp sound, customizable and responsive controls
I have been wearing them all day for over a week and find that they are light and easy to wear all day. I saw this design and wondered how these open-ear clip headphones would feel and sound. I am glad I did, because they are now my favorite open ear headphones.Left and right are marked on each earphone. When I put them on, it took a moment to find how they fit best and then I was very happy to find they are nearly imperceptible to wear. I don’t feel them at all. At the same time they sit securely on each ear! I have worn them while working out and had no problem with them moving at all. The sound quality is fantastic. Still, I could hear ambient noises, so wearing these while running water for dishes or vacuuming made them hard to hear. However, the volume has range! In a quiet setting, I am happy at 20- 30% and have room to spare if surrounding sounds are louder.I get a true 5.5 hours per charge and an easy 3 full charges from the case. The little oval case is about 2.5” long x 2” wide x 1” thick. It is like a rounded skipping stone that easily fits in the palm of the hand. The case recharges quickly using USB-C (a separate USB to USB-C cable comes with the case).I easily synced them with my phone, turned off phone Bluetooth and then quickly synced them with my computer. With Bluetooth on for both, the headphones work with whichever is playing sound. As with many headphones that pair to multiple devices, the one with sound takes over. If I turn off either device Bluetooth or “dual device connection” in the APP, then it will only connect to one at a time. I have just taken a phone call on the headphones and was told I sound very clear. They are IPX4 (meaning they resist water splashes from any direction but not immersion in water or from jets of water) making them suitable for everyday activities, plus workouts and bathing. Further, the app has a setting under More Functions called Drainage Function to blow out any moisture that may have made it into the earphones. In the APP (on my phone, installed, signed in, and paired to the B1 set), I navigated to settings and checked for any Firmware update for the headphones (there was not one). That took only a moment. Then I tried out the different preset equalizers (EQ) and even made a few of my own. There is a wide range for adjustment to sound preference. I also went to a very quiet room and performed the hearing test. This generated a personalized EQ to my terrible hearing (lots of tinnitus). After choosing an EQ, I checked the charge state on each headphone - which can be seen in the APP.Now, about the APP specifically:While the APP is not required for normal headphone use, it does allow updates to the firmware, seeing headphone specific charge state, and personalizing the EQ and touch settings, etc.FYI, when the APP is opened it creates a new instance for itself in Bluetooth settings (mine says “BT8932D”), close the APP and that goes away. The APP allows sending issues to tech support (under Help and Feedback, pressing the avatar at the upper left corner) and also performing Firmware updates (in settings found at the upper right corner), so any little issues that arise in the APP get addressed and the headphones get updates.Once signed in to the APP the first time, it does not need to be done again. Each time the APP is opened, I quickly “Accept” and “Connect Device”. I watched the video in Amazon Qs on how to get to the register screen.( I think after selecting accept, I clicked “forgot” at the bottom and that is where the register option was. Enter email, enter a “letter only” password, click to get a code sent to email. Enter the code in the minute allotted, view the terms again and click Register. Try again if it does nothing. It will work after a few tries.)The APP lets me see the charge level of each earphone. I find this useful when deciding if I should charge them and use a different pair when planning on doing some things. The APP offers many preset EQ to select from as well as offering a customizable and savable EQ option. This makes me VERY happy, and I have been refining my own custom settings to suit my hearing!Game mode and dual device connection and be turned on/off in the APP. There is also a place to customize the touch settings. I love that I can CUSTOMIZE and DISABLE ALL TOUCH CONTROLS here! I have long hair and, when wet, I accidentally stop, play, or turn sound up or down. Disabling touch on demand is the solution. There is also a hearing test to personalize the EQ. This is very cool as it tests hearing sensitivity across a spectrum of sound frequency types in about 2 minutes and used this to generate a personalized EQ setting. I would love to learn more about the tweaks made based on my weird hearing!

Maybe Good for You, Not So Much For Me
Fundamental issue I have: when I turn my head 35-40deg to the right, the back of the right earclip touches my head. The back of these earclips is where the touch sensor is. When I'm listening to music, this is no big deal (I like single-touch to be volume up/down, but you can choose this in the app), but when I'm on a call this hangs up, and I can't change that touch control in the app. I don't have this issue with the left earclip, and it's me not the earclips, I actually got a replacement for my first pair and the second pair acts exactly the same. Clearly from all of the positive reviews this isn't something that happens to most people.- Sound is reasonably good: a little dim with the Balanced (default) EQ, but with a custom EQ you can add a lot of V and get some decent sounding mid-bass and treble. Not a huge amount of detail, but it's not bad. The lowest frequency slider doesn't really do anything for these earclips, just no low-bass response. No fancy compensation for hearing response at low volumes, so at low volumes, these sound pretty dull; I listen at about 35-40% volume.- Touch response is good, you just have to get used to touching the back of the earclips, behind your ear.- Reasonably comfortable: I can wear these for a couple of hours with no issues, but I always feel them, I never forget they are there.- The app is quite good: a few preset EQs as well as an 8-band custom, an adaptive EQ that comes from a hearing test (that didn't seem to work right for me), complete customization of the touch controls for music, no customization for calls, and a Movie mode (which I assume reduces lag).- Calls were good, no issues with the other person hearing me clearly, but not much reduction of background noise.- Battery life was good: at about 40% volume, at an hour and 15 minutes I hit 83% on the batteries (on both earbuds, consistent battery life), so you should get 7 hours or so of battery life. For a lot of people, these will be a pretty good budget earclip, just not me.

I’m impressed with these earbuds!
The Truefree B1s are my second clip-on style earbuds after the C10s, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. I wanted something with good sound and a secure fit for moderate exercise, and these deliver. They stay comfortably in place during trail rides, jogs, and hikes.Pairing was effortless with my phone, and I’ve had zero connectivity issues—unlike other budget earbuds I’ve tried. Durability is also a plus; I accidentally dropped the case with no damage.Sound quality is excellent for this style. They get loud enough to block ambient noise (if desired) without ear fatigue. Battery life is solid—I’ve never drained them, even after 1-5 hours of use.The compact case is barely larger than my car key fob, making it easy to pocket and forget. Overall, a brilliantly designed product!
