I was very happy to discover an after-market replacement for my broken band-keeper. For some reason I've been kinda rough on them since owning my VivoactiveHR. I got one replacement from Garmin, but then I was on my own. These come in a bundle of 10, which is perfect for my active lifestyle. They are comfortable, just a little wider than the original, and fit on the band easily. My one issue is that they made them upside down! The originals are rounded on all sides, but these have a definite bottom. I liked the idea of squared off edges for the part of the ring that lays against my wrist. However, the little keeper tab that slides into the slot is on the bottom. This does a great job of keeping the ring in the right place according to the band, but it does not give that extra hold to the tag-end. I like the original, where the tab sits on the top side of the watch and holds the tag end more securely, and the ring holds its position accordingly. If the manufacturer would change the design and put the tab on the inside top rather than the inside bottom, I'd replace the ones I've purchased. Meanwhile, I've decided to use them "upside down." In the greater scheme of things, it's a small issue; that's why I gave them 4 stars anyway.

The fastener ring is of great quality and actually feels very comfortable however the ring is probably twice the size it should be for the band on a Garmin Vivoactive 3. If i could verify the size would accurately fit the Vivoactive 3 band I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I tried to use them with the new watch bands that I bought but they're too big - they just flop around because they're constructed to fit better on a man's wider watch band size vs.a woman's. These fastener rings should be sized for the different band widths. I just replaced the batteries on my current watch and will be looking to replace the watch itself shortly for my birthday.

My last watch band was broken while doing a very physically intensive job so I had to replace it. I bought a pack of these fastener rings to secure it & I'm very happy with them so far. They're slightly different from the original fastener ring that my watch came with (they seem a little wider & the shape is barely noticeably different) but work just as well & look fine. I ended up putting two on my watch band this time for added security since the excess band kept coming loose before when I was engaged in particularly strenuous activities: I think they look & work great. I've had these for a month now & haven't noticed any signs of damage or wear & tear, & I still have 8 more replacements in the bag. Overall I'd say I'm rather satisfied with this purchase :)

My Gamin Vivoactive watch band fastener ring broke after little over one year in use. This fastener ring is flimsy and flexible as compared with original one. Because of that I am not sure how good the durability is. However, the good thing is that I can put it to the band without taking the band off from the watch case because of its flexibility and oversize. If it breaks, I still have nine spares. The purchased package contains ten of them.

This is made opposite of the original. It works but not as well as it could. As you can see from the design, there is a "flat" side and a "curved" side. I assume the flat side is intended to sit against your wrist and the curved side is the top or outward facing side. They don't really fit well otherwise. With that said, the notch that fits into the watch band is on the wrong side - it is under the watchband instead of on top and thus the band easily comes out of this "fastener".

I bought these for an older Garmin Vivo active watch. It was easy to put on and works like the original.
