Brinkmann Grill Parts Pro Adjustable Universal Replacement BBQ Grill Oblong Tube Burner

Good fit for 20 year old Fiesta Advantis grill. First time replacing the burner wasn't sure what I would find. Had to modify the opening of the gas connector a little to where it connects to the supply. Used 7/16 bit which bored the opening just slightly- provided a snug fit. Good generic design which seems to be good quality stainless steel. I think will outlast my grill. Glad I didn't replace the grill.

Our gas grill is at least 20yrs. old & I've replaced its rusted out burner at least three times before.This time had to decide between a new grill or complete refurbish/repair. The shell had some fairly serious corrosion underneath the (pardon the pun) totally toasted burner, and the support sheet metal was rusted badly. I leaned heavily towards 'new grill time'. BUT... an equivalent to our fairly small grill is now in the > $200 range, and nothing really appealed to me below $300+, so I set out to refurb.Looked up univeral burner replacement and was SHOCKED at how expensive they are now - last time I replaced, a similar univerals was in the $15 range...The long winded explanation is to point out the calculus to the sellers... at this price point, I almost tipped to new grill... if it weren't mid-Summer, and they're at their highest price point, I would have gone new.I know with COVID isolation we're all staying in more & grilling is at a premium... but you've nearly priced yourself out.SO... for me, I went with the $30 new burner + a $10 sheet of 24-gauge steel + a $5 can of high-heat paint, spent an hour with power tools (rotary wire brush, cut-off wheel & grinder) and did a full refurb. That's $45 vs. $300... right on the line for ME... who likes to DIY & reuse... most people would probably not do the refurb...

It fits my barbecue stand, ease of installation and gas-flow burning evenly. Good value for the money.

I had to do a lot of adjusting to fit in the holes that go to the knobs. It said that this was a fit for my grill. Working well though.

Be prepared for some assembly. Small hardware means difficult handling. A magnetized Phillips screwdriver solved that. Assembly was pretty straight forward. Adjusting was easy. I adjusted mine a little longer than the original burner, as my grill had the room. Be very careful with the flexible, extendable Venturi tubes. Take it slow and you’ll be fine. The fit isn’t exact for my grill- the venturi tubes are a little too close together to match the openings on the bottom of the firebox. They are flexible enough to work anyway. Again, take it slow and make small adjustments as needed. The quality is good. I expect it to rust fairly quickly. There is a stainless version. I will likely be replacing my grill with a larger one next year, so I’m not worried about rust. All in all, for the price of this item, I have a perfectly functional grill. Definitely recommended if you’re willing to be careful during assembly and installation.

Well it lasted exactly 1 year before rusting completely and fell apart. I bought in Feb 2024. Used is thru last summer. It was always under a grill cover when not in use. I live in SW Florida, so no snow to deal with, but it is wet and humid during the summer, It was rusted within a few weeks of use, but still worked. But now, it has actually fell apart. Looks worse than the one I replaced. Must of been built with cheap tin. I have to buy another now, but not going to buy this one again.The directions weren't super clear for us common people. I figured it out watching other burners that are similar on youtube. There was no anchor bolt to attach it to the bottom of the grill. According to the directions, there is no anchor bolt. Guess they want it to bounce around as you move it. The venturi tubes had to be stretched to their max to fit my grill. (Fiesta Advantis from early 2000s). The ends were too small for the valve connections. I did the mods and made it work. Could've bought a cheaper burner, but I bought this one thinking it would be hassle free. I'm sure it is a direct drop in replacement on most grills, but mine was 20+ years old. It'll be fine for the small amount of times I grill.

What a task 8t was putting that parts together!!!! But sooooo glad that the parts worked and got our bbq grill working again
