I am in a wheelchair & take care of the goats totally. The branches & stems from the trees are hard for me to manage with any other rake. This rake is light weight, sturdy, easy to handle while managing my power wheelchair. I love it!

This rake does a great job and I love the fact that it doesn’t clog! Recently , I purchased a second rake and had an issue with the rake and Customer Service went above and beyond to correct the issue. Therefore, I am a happy customer for the quick resolution! Thank you!

I love a clog free rake! I would suggest that the handle is at least protected by some coating of film for shipping, though. My handle was marked, and some of the foam was sliced during shipping. Of course, my rake is going to get "dirty" when I use it, but I do like the foam padding when I'm not wearing gloves. I purchased two clog free rakes at least 20 years ago from Walmart, I think. The price was between 10-20 dollars, and one of them is still functioning. The screw holding the handle came out a couple times on my old one, and the ends are now breaking, but the invention is AMAZING!

I have big willow trees that lose branches with higher winds. Other rakes I have, the branches get wound in the tines and I spend a lot of time cleaning the tines out. This rake is not as sturdy as a metal rake, but my last one lasted for about 10 years. This is a good design.

I’ve only got to test this rake, since I bought it in the summer. I will add to my review this fall when I really get to use it. I bought it for the pine needles, and the little this spring I raked up, this rake has huge promise for success.

I have a lot of big black oak leaves to clear every autumn. This rake clogs much less than a traditional leaf rake and I like how it works. Unfortunately it broke in one place after two years and another tine brake after three. I contacted Ames to see if they would honor the 15 year warranty or ship me a replacement head. They responded that it isn't a warranty issue and they don't have replacement parts.Conclusion: Good concept, not durable, warranty is useless after Amazon return date.

The selling point is true. It does not get tangled in leaves or branches. It clears everything. I like that its wide so it shortens the task. Because it is one unit I can actually use it to rake and then pick up the leaves in the rake. Hope I'm making this clear. It is strong but not heavy in your hand. I picked another good one.
