BW Bicycles Kids Seat – Youth Replacement Bike Saddle – Multiple Color Options

Purchased the BW kids seat to dial in the fit on a 24” bike (12” frame). The OEM saddle, which measures 10” x 5” (l/w) and weighs under 300g, is a good match for the bike. But the bike is still a tad large for my rider—who is too large for his 20” bike (10” frame) but not quite large enough for his new bike. The OEM saddle on the 20” bike measures 8.5” x 5” (l/w) so I was hoping to find an affordable saddle that measures (and weighs) somewhere between the two OEM saddles to carry my little rider over until he stretches some more. I found many “junior” performance saddles costing up to 2x as much (or more) and in some cases weighing even more than the saddle I’m needing to switch out. Then I stumbled on the DDK Group’s website and spotted exactly what I was wanting, hoping that their saddles would be more modestly priced. Since DDK doesn’t appear to have distribution in the U.S., I went back to Amazon praying some seller would have seen the value in carrying DDK saddles. And upon closer examination of the BW saddle images, I saw the BW saddle is in fact a DDK rebranded saddle—so I didn’t have to guess at the dimensions/weight because DDK has specs for their entire catalog posted online 😁The BW saddle (DDK rebranded) is exactly what I was needing—measuring 9.5” x 5” (l/w) and weighing under 300g. Moreover, the BW saddle is very similar to the shape and style of the OEM saddles (both Velo rebranded performance saddles) my little guy is already accustomed to. I especially like how discreet/simple the BW logo and graphics are—nothing garish that would clash with the already carefully thought out design of the bikes they’d be attached to. It’s a very sharp looking saddle.

Picked this up looking for a purple seat for my 8 y/o bike build. Everything checks out. Seat is not full size adult, but great size s/m ish and a lil to grow for my child.

Seat is nice quality it seems, but just take note the seat does not come with a new post mount. So you will need to remove your old one. And it if it’s shot well then you will need to purchase that separately. I guess that’s the way things are now. every new seat I have ever purchased in the past always had the seat post mount with it. Possibly the exception is a touring bike high end saddle. But this is a kids bike seat. -1 star for that.

My daughters seat broke on her new bike. This one was a very quick install and looks great! Also looks like it is great quality so I am very happy with the purchase. I almost spent $8 less for another all black seat but didnt get a good feeling and wasnt able to return if we didnt like it. This one is defintely worth the extra money.

I got this as a replacement to my daughter's bike. The bike saddle is of good quality and has nice bright colors that she loves.

Purchased this for my daughter's bike since it was a hand me down and the old seat wasn't too comfortable and was a bit worn. This saddle is really well made and has some nice cushioning where it needs to be, the finish is really nice and my daughter loved the colors. The seat rails were nice and sturdy and accepted the existing saddle clamp with ease while allowing a nice amount of forward/backward adjustment. Having worked in a high end bike shop in the past and selling many saddles that cost 10x this price I can definitely say this is a great seat for the price.

This was purchased as a replacement for the stock saddle on a 20” Schwann Deelite bike. It’s a perfect replacement and far more stylish and comfortable than the original at a reasonable price. Another option is a small Selle Royal but this one was far more attractive available in many colors.

The seat is very cute with very little padding. Granddaughter loves it but there is not enough comfort to it.
