Decent microwave when the fan is seated properly
Bought two of these now a couple of years apart, both good microwaves. When this one was delivered however it was damaged, the box was not!The rear fan shroud is held in place internally with black plastic lugs that sit in the vent holes in the rear panel, and screws inside. Somehow the fan shroud on this one had become dislodged, making the microwave sound like a grinder when operated, where the fan was hitting the shroud.. Either put together wrong or a repackaged return? I'm unsure but the box and packaging were pristine. I went through the process for a return but didn't end up going this route, I just took 4 screws out of the side panel and 2minutes later it was fineNOW it functions as it should do.Nice colour blue inside with a speckled paint

Samsung 23 litre, 800 watt solo (no steamer)
Firstly I paid £69 new, which is ridiculous value.I opted for amazon packaging, this is important to protect it in transit, I received the microwave in a slightly tattered box but the box inside containing the microwave was totally undamaged.DO NOT OPT FOR MANUFACTURER PACKAGING.It's very easy to operate, there's is a q code on the microwave (see pictures) just download the Samsung members app, open the app, tap on support (bottom right) and then tap register product. This will offer you the option to scan q code, tap on this and scan the code, it's that simple, your microwave is now registered. There's only one rubber foot, which is stupid really as there should be at least 2, strange. This is not a fault, it's designed this way but it does sit flush on my counter top, there's no wobble.Light is a bit dim, but you can see inside providing your room isn't too bright. All in all I'm really happy, usual Samsung build quality, at £69 this was a steal!Ps, I have just cooked a large jacket potato, 5 minutes full power, rest for 10 minutes, turn the potato over and cook for another 5 minutes. It's cooked abs perfect, no hard spots at all, fluffy perfection. I expect nothing less from Samsung.Lose 1 star for the dim light and only 1 rubber foot, but the microwave is corner wedged and doesn't slide.

A good value machine
What I like:It's nice looking.Cooks evenly.Loud beep.Powerful fan expelling moisture (so reduces buildup of condensation internally), but that means you certainly know when it is on.It has 5s time steps (my previous Panasonic had 10s steps).Easy to clean (ceramic interior finish).I like the fact they the interior has a five year warranty - they must have faith that it won't rust like most do.Bright display.Has power saving feature (but manual). Not quite so good:Power saving should be automatic - it should shut off power after a short time. You pull the door to open rather than press a button, and it's quite noisy closing.I didn't experience an issue with the door being stiff to open as some reporte. The internal light is okay when the door is open, but I wish manufacturers would put a light on both side. With the door closed, it's almost impossible to see inside unless you turn all the room lights off (and close the blinds!) - as many report. I fail to understand why it was not designed to make it possible to clearly see what's cooking - useful if you want to ensure your coffee or porridge doesn't boil over! The wire mesh needs to be their to reflect the 3cm microwaves back into the oven and let none out but other manufacturers have managed to do this and have good visible light transparency too.The light comes out of the back of the unit (so more could have been done to channel all the light into the cavity!)This 'defect' is mentioned in many reviews (not just Amazon), but I will live with it - the advantages outweigh this disadvantage.I was going to include a picture showing the view inside with the door closed to show how difficult it was to see the contents but bizarley with a phone camera you can see quite clearly into the machine!!!The fan could stay on a bit longer to reduce condensation buildup when you don't remove the contents straight away (minor point).Overall, a very good microwave and I have no regrets buying it. I certainly do recommend it.Time will tell (of course) how long it will last, but generally Samsung products are well made.

It's good.
O. K. so it's only a microwave oven but as with everything else in life there are good and there are bad, this belongs in the former category. Well put together and not too faffy controls, after all you only want to re-heat your espresso in the morning, right? The ceramic lining, quality, price and brand swung it for me. If you're in the market for one you could do a lot worse, happy with my purchase.
