Josef Seibel Women's Amanda 09 Flat

Josef Seibel shoes are comfortable, cute, and of excellent quality. When I found “Josef Seibel Women's Amanda 09 Flat” on Amazon, I was pleased to see that a size 37 was available. The Bark Capri color has a lovely waxed-leather appearance and is a medium brown tone. Because I have some dexterity issues, the Velcro closure is a very positive feature and one I look for when shoe shopping. These shoes have no arch support, but if you need arch support, you could add an orthodic insert.I wear a 7N in US-sized shoes and a European size 37 usually fits. Unfortunately, the “Josef Seibel Women's Amanda 09 Flat” runs longer and wider than many of the European size 37’s I have purchased in the past. From center front to center heel, these measure approximately 9 5/8"; the heel width is 2 1/2" and the width at the ball of the foot is 3 1/2". Even when fastened as tightly as possible, the shoes slipped uncomfortably. I think women who have wider feet would find these shoes an excellent purchase.Although I returned these, the “Josef Seibel Women's Amanda 09 Flat” is still a five-star product for those who do not have narrow feet.

Love these shoes. They are light weight and very comfortable; easy to walk in. The only thing which keeps me from giving them a five star review is some poky nylon threads, which means I have to wear socks with them. (Heavyweight nylons work). They are great shoes for transitional seasons (spring and fall) when you don't want heavy shoes, but not quite ready for sandals.

Size 36 was too long and too wide. Very disappointed, loved the shoes.

I normally wear a size nine shoe or sometimes an 8 1/2 so chose the size 8-9 rather than 9-10. The shoe seemed to fit OK, and it looks good for casual wear and I had high hopes for them. However, during a two mile walk to and from class, I was barely able to limp home. The back of the heel rubbed a hole in my left foot and irritated the other one. The second toes of both feet have a painful red injury where the seam that goes down top rubbed against. This is even though the inside of the shoe at that point is smooth. What is more, the velcro on the top of the strap rubs into the top of the foot, and the bottom part of the strap rubs into the side of the foot. The small toes are also rubbed by the straps designs that come up in that area. All in all, a big disappointment.

These shoes are fabulous. They are extremely well made, with high quality materials. I wanted the red model, but Amazon did not have it, so I found it on another website and purchased them.One thing to note, my US size is a 7M. I do have smallish feet, and so, because the website only had the red model in a 37 (6-6.5) I went ahead and purchased the 37 thinking I could return them if they didn't fit. Well, they fit me to a T! Excellent fit.I liked the red model so much, I came back to Amazon and purchased the brown model from Amazon in a 37 and it also was a terrific fit. I wear these shoes all the time and just love the style, wonderful quality and comfort.

I LIKE THE SANDLAL BUT THEY HAVE A TERRIBLE SQEAK IN THE ARCH AND I WANT TO SEND THEM BACK FOR A DIFFERENT PAIR.

This is a casual shoe and I have not had the opportunity to wear it for very long, but it fit perfectly right out of the box. I take a size 7and I usually need to find shoes in a Wide, but this Euro size 37 is perfect. I also love the velcro closure. I will use this as my only shoe when I travel.

Good quality as expected from Josef Seibel. The shoes are quality crafted.
