Great value, works great
Great value for this replacement switch assembly. Worked perfectly in my 2013 Jetta SE Sedan. As noted by others, this switch does NOT Have the chrome accents, but I don't care. Installation is VERY easy - remove the trim there with a spudger, starting at the bottom, then work your way up. At the top is a "hook" into the arm rest, so that needs to be tipped up to come out. Remove the connector (you need to push on the retainer hard, so you may want to use a screwdriver for that - mine was orange colored, but I've seen YT videos with green instead. Once pushed back, the connector comes out easily. I connected the new switch electrically first, to make sure it fixed my issue, and it did. My original problem was that the auto up/down wouldn't work anymore on the driver window. And just yesterday, it stopped working on the driver window at all. The new switch worked perfectly out of the box, as well as restoring the auto up/down on that window. The harder part is getting the old switch out of the trim - there are 3 holes on each side, and you need to separate that part of the trim so that the switch assembly can pull out, so it's a little tricky to do without breaking it... but it comes out easily (even after 10+ years of grit and grime on mine). Once out, I washed the trim piece in the sink, and then installed this new one by just snapping it into place. Then put the trim back on the car and you're done. Took 15 minutes only because I was being extra careful with the trim. Excellent product, works great, low cost, and VERY easy install!

Fits and Works Perfectly
I purchased a used 2014 VW Tiguan after my car was totaled in an accidnet and I found out the master window switch needed to be replaced. My mechanic was going to charge me $250 to do it, but i found out the actual part was available on Amazon for only $15. So I purchased the master window switch on Amazon and a friend said he would install it for $45. And it works perfectly! There are a couple of videos on YouTube that show you, step-by-step on how to do it. All you have to do is remove the inside door panel to replace the master switch and no special tools are needed. Do ti yourself and save your money.

Easy installation after viewing the videos on the mfg's website. The unit was an exact match for my OEM part. Total time from disassembly to finish was 15 minutes. Window works perfectly. I would go to Switchdoctor again for auto switches.

13' Jetta SE/ No silver tip trim on button
Perfect fit and function, great price! The only drawback is the OEM buttons have silver trim on the tip, at least on my SE they did. No worries. no more banging the door to make the windows roll up and down! install was ok, install tool would be helpful but not included.

High Quality, durable,sturdy.
I was hesitant to purchase what appeared to be just another shoddy off-brand replacement but decided to take a leap of faith. Glad I did. I replaced the switch on my 2006 Passat and am happy with the product. The quality has exceeded my expectations. It was really simple to install, I did it by myself in under 10 minutes. The buttons don't stick or have any other quality-related annoyances. Its been a month and still working well. I definitely recommend this product.

Plug and play in 2014 Jetta SE
Plug and play. Installation was 1 out of 10. Fits like OEM. Visually a few differences, the button edge is flat and straight while OEM is curved, edge is black where OEM has a gray/silver raised edge. Works, brought back my auto up function.

Very good for the price!
It took me a while to get this installed, my fault. But once on, I have been very impressed. It is not like the original one, true. But it feels sturdy, functions perfectly, and is very soft on my fingers which I appreciate. It has the top quality feel, yet not as luxurious as the original one. Still, works flawlessly!
