Yes it did! My twins are 9 and absolutely love this!! Thanks to this Both have gotten A's in their 4th grade social studies class.

Q: I have an old oregon scientific smart globe deluxe. the pen with it was not wireless. i have lost the pen. is it possible to replace it?

The pen will be difficult to find but they are out there on the web from a used perspective. New ones haven't been sold for a few years. You can always check with Oregon Scientific customer service to see what they tell you.

Q: Does it come with an AC adapter?

An AC adapter was part of the original contents when this item was sold in retail stores. If you are considering buying one in "collectible" conditions, please refer to the seller's condition notes as to whether an AC adapter is included with their individual items.

I am not sure if you can buy the pen alone. You may want to check with the Oregon trail company. Sorry I'm not much help!
