From the Academy Award-winning writer/director of Parasite, Bong Joon Ho, comes his next groundbreaking cinematic experience, Mickey 17. The unlikely hero, Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) has found himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the ultimate commitment to the job ... to die, for a living.

Worth it
Great movie, great picture and storyline, nothing too serious but sci fi comedy, well written and directed movie.

Offbeat scifi adventure for those who like irreverent quirk
I like Bong Joon-ho's work, and this is closer to Okja or Snowpiercer than Parasite, for sure. There is still some environmental messging beneath the offbeat sci-fi story, but it's loosely buried beneath a lot of quirky characters, gallows humor, and a shifting narrative. If you like your movies colorful and purposefully camp and a bit ridiculous...if you like strange sci-fi concepts...and if you like Bong Joon-ho's particular sense of humor, you'll like this. I did, but this is definitely not for everyone, and I can see Mickey 17 wearing out its welcome quickly for many.

Bong Joon Ho Doesn’t Miss
Mickey 17 is exactly what great science fiction should be: thought-provoking, unsettling, and unafraid to hold a mirror up to our current world. Bong Joon-ho, as always, blends sharp satire with stunning visuals, and the result is a film that’s both entertaining and deeply reflective. It’s fascinating to watch certain reviewers twist themselves into knots over the film’s “agenda”, as if using art to explore power, identity, and exploitation is somehow new. These same people never seem to complain when films glorify violence, nationalism, or corporate greed, but the moment a story suggests we think critically about those structures? Suddenly, it’s “preachy.”Let’s be honest; If you’re upset that a science fiction movie made you think, or that it didn’t coddle your worldview, that says more about you than the film. This isn’t a spoon-fed popcorn flick; it’s a layered, intelligent piece of work from a director who has never pulled his punches.

Good sounding movie with good picture quality, just not a great movie
No issues with getting my delivery in a timely manner, and the movie has great sound and picture quality, I just don’t like dumb movies, and it’s pretty dumb.

Damaged
I actually like this movie but that’s not my problem. Amazon shipped me this item and I received it damaged. I got a replacement, also damaged. Is Amazon punting their packages into their trucks? What is going on?
