For an inexpensive appliance, it was a great purchase! Used for a party and after the initial use to slush everything, just flip it on for a few second before each pour to mix it back up. Plus I found adding a little more ice after an hour helped keep it extra slushie. I found the key was to start by filling ice to the max line, then add drink ingredients (best to chill ingedients first so they don't instantly melt the ice). This creates the perfect icee/fine slush consistency to drink through a straw.

It works perfect. Over the summer we like to make adult slushies and this works great. Makes perfect slushies every time and it very easy to use. It makes enough for 2 decent sized cups.

Last night we were so excited to use this for the first time on the boat watching fireworks. Got everything loaded up, plugged in the 12V inverter and turned on the blender. Started up and then DIED!!!! The inverter was cycling out. Not enough power . Now, I was running this off THREE (3) Deep-Cycle AGM Marine Battery Group 31. MORE than enough power, but nothing. When I go homes, I plugged it in and worked fine, so it isn't the blender. One of the people on the boat is a Supervise for the power company and he said it was the inverter that's bad. So we'll see when I call the company if they can fix or replace it.

Do NOT PURCHASE this item. It is nothing more than a blender. This machine WILL NOT keep the margaritas cold. It will melt rapidly. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME & MONEY.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and the entire family loves it. Making smoothies and ice drinks is a snap.

This cool nostalgia looking margarita blender appears to be the perfect addition to any Taco Tuesday night or for entertaining a small group of friends in general, but unfortunately this product does not perform as advertised. It can barely chop up ice and the main container leaks everywhere. Do not waste your money. It’s poorly made and operates like a cheap toy blender. You would be better off using an old school blender bought at a yard sale since this product is so poorly made. It looks cool, but does not perform well and gets only one star due to poor performance and due to the fact that it leaks. I’m attempting to get a refund and return the product to the merchant. I will update this review after that process is complete.I’m updating my review by adding a few more stars to my rating for the company’s excellent customer service. They immediately provided a full refund upon request and made the return process super easy. I appreciate that in a company. I’d give them 5 stars for their excellent customer service but still would not recommend this product to anyone.

I ordered this for my wife and I to make margaritas, Pina coladas, or whatever drink we want. We are mainly using this out by our pool, the machine is stored under a pavilion so it is not directly in the sunlight. It is double wall vacuum insulated so it keeps the drinks at somewhat of a frozen consistency for a couple of hours but there is no refrigerant or way for this machine to keep them truly frozen. If we do not have enough people around to drink the gallon within an hour or two, for best results we pour the remainder in a large vacuum insulated steel container and refrigerate or place in an ice chest to prevent melting. It does make a very smooth consistency frozen slushy drink and the pour spout works well. Make sure you use crushed ice and not large cubes for best results and turn it on when using the spout.
