I purchased two of these beds—one for my 8-year-old and one for my 4-year-old—and I’m really happy with my decision. The beds arrived on time, well-packaged, and weighed about 40 pounds in the box each.I’ve assembled a lot of furniture from various brands, and this was one of the smoother builds I’ve had. The instructions are clear, printed in a full-sized booklet with detailed illustrations. Each step includes a small box showing the required parts and tools, making it easy to follow. The best part is that all parts are individually labeled and bagged, which saves a lot of time. The LED lights are pre-installed in the headboard, so setup is quick—just plug them in.The first bed took me about 75 minutes to build, and the second one went even faster at around 50 minutes. Once assembled, the beds feel very sturdy. My daughters have two medium-sized dogs that sleep with them, and the beds hold up great with all the company on the bed. The upholstery on the headboard and frame is soft and seems to be good quality.The LED lights are a fantastic feature, and my daughters absolutely love them. They even have a sound-reactive mode, which is sensitive enough to pick up voices and background noise. My 8-year-old has a projector near her bed, and the lights responded to the sound of the movie playing, which was a cool touch. The bed comes with a remote control for the LED lights. It works well and allows for dimming and color changing of the LEDs.I only had two minor issues:The wire drawer is the first thing to be assembled, and it was a little tricky at first. Once I figured out how the two pieces fit together, it was fine.Some of the screw holes had fabric from the manufacturing process stuck inside, making it a bit difficult to start the screws in a few spots.Overall, these beds exceeded my expectations, and most importantly, my daughters love them. Compared to other big-brand, build-it-yourself furniture, this was a breeze to put together. The design, quality, and LED features make them a great value for the price. I’d definitely recommend them!Tip: If you happen to have a small ratchet Allen wrench, I would recommend using it. This does come with a small Allen wrench/ Phillips screwdriver combo and it gets the job done. However, using a ratchet Allen wrench saved my hand and forearm muscles and no doubt, some time!
