Been looking a long time for a kettle with a wide opening and side handle and no bs. Absolutely loathe logos on my stuff, so while some of the korkmaz items have that, this does not. The dead simple domed shape is perfect, no frippery.Looked too small when first unpacked, but it holds more than it appears it would, like tupperware. ;-)After doing some sloshing back and forth between the old crappy stained enamel kettle and this one for a volume check, and a test boil, it's won my heart and mind. Heats up quickly on the induction. The description on this did not address cooktops, but other korkmaz products stated compatability with induction so I figured this one would also.If I had it to do over, I'd get a set, (probably the tombik - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I8YS5H0) but couldn't see the use of having 2 pots, silly me.I didn't see any complaints about rust in korkmaz reviews, which seems to be a problem for modern "stainless'.The only issue is that the lid doesn't lock on, so if you tip it completely to get the last drops, it's gonna fall off.This is a definite BUY recommendation.

The description is actually very accurate and that’s what you get. I like it so much I use it every day.

This teapot is elegant as well as well-made.
