Everflow 80mm x 25mm Programmable LED Case Fan "Make Your Own Phrases!"

Fan works like is should. Words come out clear. Noise level is moderate. Air movement is moderate. I’m using it as an extra exhaust fan. Works great cause the writing is facing the correct way. Would not use as a CPU cooler or GPU cooler.

Works as described. 5-pin connection on fan hub (for downloading text) is very subtitle, not pictured in instructions, but works fine when plugged in correctly. I had no trouble installing the text-download software on Windows 7 PC.

Don't plug in the USB interface backwards or you torch the electronics for displaying the message and it will just be a cheap sleeve bearing 80mm fan forever. Cheap sleeve bearings so they only last a year or two max. Somebody should tell them to put quality, long lasting bearings in them and these would be worth twice the price.If it wasn't the only choice to display a message, I wouldn't buy these. Buy several because they don't last and I don't know how long they will be made/be available.

Text comes out pretty distorted and will hurt your eyes if you try to look at it for to long. I have a non programmable thermaltake one that is much more appealing to look at. This one does the trick. Unfortunately I was unable to type out my whole business name on it.Update. This fan has been acting up for a while now. It only writes out about every other letter and the blue no longer lights up at all. When all of the letters do show up, they are so blurry you can't even read them. If I could give this zero stars, I would. Of course its now past the return window. The only thing I hate more than wasting money, is wasting my time!!

The fan is really quiet. The software to program the messages is really easy to use and the fan looks awesome. I bought one and loved it so I'm ordering a second one.

Moves more air than I expected. LED's are very bright and easy to read. The software runs without any problems on windows 10. I only wish the 120mm version was still available.

USB connection wire to download text is a little suspect (as we say in Boston) but power wire is normal and it works great... Reads better than i thought it would and cools just as good as any fan this size.

For the price this was a nice little addition to a gaming PC. It doesn't move a lot of air, but it quiet and looks good. Simple to program too. You can cycle through quite a few different messages with a max of probably 20 character spaces each. There's a few different effects to choose when displaying the messages too. It also automatically display the temperature for a few seconds after finishing with your custom messages. Don't think you can change this but I like it.
