Easy clean air. It’s like magic, but real. (Not kidding)
Very simple installation, but I am a licensed mechanical journeyman. Universal voltage between 24-230v and 2 watts consumption makes placement a breeze. The device size is tolerable, and mounting in the air handler is a simple task with the integral neodymium magnets. However placement in other areas will be simple too with the included hardware. The green LED indicator is lit when active, and the device makes an audible squealing noise that you can hear if you are within 12 inches of the device. The device is zero maintenance due to the automatic cleaning preprogrammed every 3 days. My personal observations over three days of use are: 1. The conditioned spaces have no odors. 2. Throw out the scented candles, because the scent will not last more than 60 minutes if the circulator fan is active. 3. The research on benefits bipolar ionization is solid and professional. Just search NPBI and look at controlled independent results posted by Global Plasma Solutions and it’s partner Aviation Clean Air.

Easy install - Effective results - Allergy Relief - Odor Elimination - 4 Dog house
Installed this last night and have started following the manufacturers recommendation and I am letting the system run continuously for the first 72 hours. To do this I just set the fan to ON and the thermostat at my desired temperature so the AC will kick in when needed. This unit is wired to the power lead for the blower motor as it works with any AC current between 24 and 240 volts. My AC system is horrible...the return basically intakes air from the floor...so the entire system is constantly filled with dust and dog hair due to owning 4 very large dogs...add to this the general odor from these four beasts...and you have to constantly clean and deodorize...and then it all smells like wet dog... Been researching an approach to sanitize the air and generally improve air quality in the home...I am a fan of UV sterilizers but felt I needed something more effective and maintenance free... I stumbled upon this product and did some research...was skeptical of this new technology... After installing last night within 15 minutes we could notice a difference as the air seemed fresher... Slept better...and allergies seem to be improving... Dog stench seems to have dissipated The real test will come when we steam clean the carpets... Will update in a few weeks...

This Does Work!
Over the years I have tried a couple of different air purifying UV lamps with very little noticeable effect. I threw caution to the wind and purchased this silly looking 'air purifier'. To optimize performance, I run the blower motor on my furnace 24/7/365. If you are not moving air you are not purifying air. Does this device work? It actually does work...very well...noticeably well. My wife's post nasal drip is actually better. She does not complain of the 'gunk' in her throat or the crusty eyes in the AM. When I cook burgers or steaks (hot cast iron pan with lots of sizzle and smoke) the smell does not linger into the next day. Our large dog got sick in the basement one night (in a room with an air return). I did not smell it in the AM when I got up. I am super happy with this product. I cannot comment on mold or virus removal as it is not easily measured....but based on the other validated claims... it might just help with this, too. You will want to run your furnace fan more frequently if not 24/7 in order to maximize performance. If your furnace does not have an ECM blower motor (Azure from MARS) you might want to look into that.

Expensive, but was likely a factor in preventing COVID spread
Installation was a snap, and if you're comfortable working around HVAC electronics, you can do it. The warranty claims installation must be performed by a licensed installer, but I took my chances and probably saved a few hundred by doing it myself. There is no obvious indication that the unit is actually "doing" anything, except for the presence of the green power indicator, and rotation of the cleaning brushes. However, after living with the unit for a few months, I've noticed that cooking and pet odors dissipate more quickly, and a bit more dust on furniture (as the ion-attached dust particles sink to the floor). The dust issue cleared up after about 4 months. My furnace filter was noticeably dirtier, which I attribute to the unit. After installation, my wife caught COVID. We performed all the recommended isolation and sanitization routines, and I never ended up getting it despite living in the same house. While there's no proof the ionizer was responsible, I do believe it was a factor in keeping me healthy. Coincidentally, my dentist's office installed a bi-polar ionizer before reopening during COVID, so to me that's independent confirmation that this technology is an effective tool in keeping your air healthy. So far, so good. Testing in progress.
Easy to install and monitor with the alarm light. Have 2 units running in separate systems in the house with 3 cats and more pollen than should be possible. Ran for 3 days as instructions indicate and now has been running for 2 weeks normal vs. Multi room size hepa filters, and so far so good. My wife doesn't like that she can no longer smell any of the 10 Bath&Bodywork wall flowers in the house....yes 10. Which I find as a pretty solid sign. So breathing from the pollen better, the house which never smelled bad has really no smell at all now. The air filter do get dirty faster as they did warn for the first couple of filter changes. So we will see in another 30 or 45 days how it goes.

Cleans the air, and eliminates dust
I couldn't believe it. We had electrostatic filters and UV lights. We still had dust. On a sunny day, you could see the specs in the sunlight. We installed this, and after about 48 hours, there was more dust on the floor and surfaces (as we were told would happen), so we vacuumed and dusted, and from then on there has been almost no dust, and you can't see it in the sunlight anymore. Also, the air just smells clean, light after a thunderstorm. Great product.
