I'll start with this, long battery life. Wore this for 6 of the hours I was at work and it really made a difference. After this it still had a bar of battery left, and this was at the medium setting. The wind is really strong, and kept my back dry, as this is where I had Put it. The cooling gel in the phase ring also contributes to your comfort. It is really cool for a while after you put it on, helps in removing heat. Its firm at first, and liquifies after being on the body a while. I recommend taking phase ring of, and putting in fridge for a while for longer lasting cooling as far as that part of this goes. This is comfortable to wear around the waist/back, and the supplied strap stretches, and is adjustable. Very helpful, as I am a bigger person, wide, and didn't think this would fit, but to my surprise it does. I was already thinking ahead of time how I could make it fit if it didn't stretch, as a lot of wearable products aren't big people friendly, but this is. It's weight is very light, and doesn't interfere with daily task at all. There are 3 different power levels, and of course with just about any fan on high, it can be a little loud, but at the trade off of being cool, NOT A PROBLEM! Besides, my job is loud anyways, so what difference does that make. I recommend giving this a try, don't think you'll regret it! Also as for the price point, for its convenience, and functions, long battery life, I think it's worth it. Just as an extra, the packaging looks really cool and not bulky. Comes with a carrying bag, but I carry and keep it in the box, as this bag offers no protection from to it from harm, but at least it comes with that. some products come with nothing, or you have to buy separate.

This waist fan works exactly as expected and it's a perfect way to keep cool. I am still unclear what the panel that sits against your body does. You can take it off the unit, but there are no recommendations as to what to do with it. I tried putting it in the freezer but it didn't make a huge difference. Initially it seemed like it might have made the air cooler. However, I'm not sure it was that much better than without freezing it. I wish the waist fan came with more detailed instructions. Information is relatively sparse. Which is fine, as it is a pretty simple device, but a little more instructions as to what each element of the fan does would be great. The fan speeds are very good and quite powerful. I typically use my fans on the lowest setting, if possible to ensure for the longest battery life. I typically wear this to baseball games which tend to be 2.5-3 hours long. I would love to have a version of this fan that is air conditioned. Torras also makes an air-conditioned neck fan that has cold plates. While having cold plates against my body might be a bit much, if there was a mechanism that allowed for the fan to blow cold air that would be incredible. The higher speeds get a little loud. So it's not completely discreet, but staying cool may be a good trade-off. The durability seems quite good and seems well made. The belt fits nicely and doesn't irritate. I would definitely recommend this as a good budget option on-body fan. Great for outdoor concerts, sporting events, picnics or hiking.

Do not buy this. Its overpriced garbage. Works ac broke and, i was looking for fans. I picked this up thinking it would be a good one. I thought it would be good because the price. Well at first, it was ok but, then I got another fan. It wad 20,000 mah fan the double as a battery pack for charging other devices. It clips on your belt and, it also as clip for your shirt. So you can get better airflow under your shirt. It costs $47.00, it works better and, has better deaters for much cheaper. So if your considering buying one of these fans, do do not waste your money on torras.

Works pretty well, though I prefer their neck fans, which use a different technology. The neck fans use thermoelectric cooling, which uses a lot of battery, but cools the unit (like an air conditioner) and it keeps working until the battery dies. This uses a different technology called PCM (phase-change material). The gel portion is a PCM that melts when it gets hot, and it cools down when it melts. So once all of the PCM has melted then that part of the cooling will no longer work and you will be left with only the fan (it's just like ice really, which is also a PCM but melts at a lower temperature). The PCM does work pretty well. And you recharge it by cooling the gel down again. A little pricey, and a little bulky, but a cool product.
