Why doesn't dewalt state the ah of this battery on the label? like every other dw battery? this product is rife with misleading marketing.

That's because they're trying to trick you. They don't want you to know it's only 1.7Ah. The marketing says "50% more power" when compared to the DCB203 battery. But the DCB203 battery is 2.0Ah and this battery is 1.7Ah... which means this is SMALLER than the one it's supposed to have "50% more power" than. They don't want you know this. "50% more power" is basically an outright lie, but by a much more technical definition of "power", peak amperge/wattage output, it's likely true. But for consumers that doesn't matter. No one ever thinks about the peak amp output of their battery it's always enough. It's basically a lie but for legal purposes not quite a lie. This battery has the sleaziest marketing from DeWalt I've ever seen.

Why doesn't it just say the amp hours in the description?

You might be less likely to overpay for this battery if they openly advertise that it has 15% less capacity than the DCB203.

I checked price on 7 sites and found same $119. How did that happen? Are you all in collusion to set price?

Lol. Two possibilities seem more obvious. Either the prices retailers obtain them for are getting lowered with $119 msrp. Or one retailer lowers the price and the others match it so they won't lose business.

Hello all! If you know me from other products then you know I have something good to tell you😁Today we have the 20V Max XR Powerstack battery from DeWalt. This is little battery altough rated as a 2.5ah battery gives an output of 5ah battery.It features a battery life display on the back accessible with the push of a button and is tough enough to handle hours on an XR demolition hammer. Due to their small size and enhanced built-in technology when paired with the quick charger you will have it ready to go in a couple minutes. Sometimes bigger ah batteries are necessary as they provide a better output,but this little guy means business!And with a cheap price too along with its name😁I have dozens of these and highly recommend them to you all,10/10 product👍🏻
