Works as it’s supposed to.
Cable quality is good, fit my old headphones to my iPhone. Sounds still comes out great. Great value for purchasing two kept one and gave the other away.

Don't make the same mistake I did
I purchased these adapters in late September, 2025. When I received them, I gave them a cursory inspection and decided that they looked fine. I didn't get to use therm until today (November 23). I tried the first one to listen to audio from my iPhone though my headset. It didn't work. I then tried the second one and I was able to get some intermittent sound, but only if i wiggled the plug end. Upon closer inspection (see photo), I was able to determine that these cheap knockoffs are not exact copies of the original Apple adapter. First off, the plug end (with the metal contacts) is longer than the Apple and, more importantly, the metal contacts are not spaced the same as the original. The result is that there is not a transference of information from the iPhone port to the headset. Since I purchased them in September, I guess I now have to eat them. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple of extra dollars and get the Apple original adapters. These cheap knockoffs are junk.

The headphone jack adapter was fairly priced and arrived in a timely fashion. I would purchase this product again

Low price, high sound quality!
These are very useful for connecting my phone to many old school devices I still use on a regular basis. They are a good quality and provide great sound. Very happy to have found them.

Messes with the volume
They work fine to conduct audio, but I notice they cause problems with volume. If I plug this into my phone and turn the volume to the lowest possible level (but still not mute), the output will be quite loud, equivalent to maybe a 60% volume with an official adapter. Mute is still mute. One of these adapters I put in the car, and there the volume thing isn't a problem since I can adjust volume via the car stereo. I wanted to use the other one for headphones but it's annoying not being able to use the full range of volume.
