Colorful and engaging book
All of my 5 grandchildren have enjoyed this book. It is very colorful and interactive. They love feeling the softness of all of the animals in the book. It has been a favorite choice over their early toddler years

Definitely a top 3 favorite!
Both of my girls LOVED this book! Even now as teenagers, they remember me reading it to them and have fond memories. I bought is again for a great nephew that's due to arrive soon. I also bought an extra so my girls will each have one for their children.

A Great Book for Young Toddlers through Early Readers!
My 1 year old granddaughter loves feeling the different textures in this cardboard book! Each page she turns has something for her to touch & feel. When she's not in a hurry to feel the pages, I am able to read the words of this bedtime story to her; eventually she'll begin to learn the names of the animals. As she grows older, she'll memorize the story & read it to herself, while still enjoying different textures. Good books with a variety of textures aren't easy to find; those suitable for such a wide range of ages are rare. "Good Night" is a real treasure!

Such variety of animal textures!
When I got this book, I was sure that each "animal" fur texture would be the same, but I was thrilled to find that this touch and feel book was so varied! There were lots of little baby animals fur/feather textures and they all felt slightly different. My baby nephew will LOVE feeling the soft little ducky and the ripply fur of the dog. Gorgeous pictures.Best $6 touch and feel board book I've seen in a while. (of course I haven't experience the extended version: "good morning, good night" book by Melanie Mitchell)Will probably buy more of these for other nephews!

My Sons Favorite Bedtime Book!
I love this book, this was extremely hard to find online which is why I’m assuming it was jacked up a couple of bucks but it was worth it! Beware some of the wording is a little different page to page, but it’s the same gist of the story and again my son didn’t notice the replacement and was still in love!

This is a great book for my 7 month old
This was one of many books I ordered for my 7 month old who started to show a little more interest in books... other than eating them. I love this book because it takes advantage of his need to touch everything. He doesn't try to mouth this book as much as others because he likes the pictures and the soft, fuzzy inserts distract him perfectly. I can't say it helps him sleep, but nothing does! If that were the case, I would probably find the publisher, author and illustrator and plant a big, wet one right on their lips!!!!

Great book
This book was initially given to us as a gift for my son. He loves this book so much, that I bought it for my nephew, who is about 3 months younger than my son. When it arrived, it had a big line (almost like a cut/slice mark) across the front cover of the book (see photos), so I’m really not pleased with how it came to me. This was going to be a gift I give to my nephew for his first birthday, and I’m rather embarrassed to give it to him in this condition (as it’s supposed to be “new”). Otherwise, we really love this book.UPDATE: Upon closer inspection of this book, and comparing it to my son’s book, the wording of the inside of the book is slightly different. I’m not sure I understand why the change of wording. I find it really odd and a little suspicious. And after looking more closely on the cover of the book, it doesn’t have the author’s name anywhere on it (like it does on my son’s book: “Annie Alexander”); only the Illustrator’s name is on it. Is this legit or some kind of copycat ripoff?
