Dyson Chitosan Pre-style Cream

WOW!! Made from the fibers that are underneath fan mushrooms. A little goes a long way. Not heavy at all. Adds hold and shine. The scent is light and luxurious. Pricey, but the bottle is reusable and sustainable. I will most likely purchase again. 10/10

I like the way this makes my curls feel, and it applies very generously with a small amount. It doesn't leave any weird residue behind, and smells pleasant but not strong. But it's just so pricey. If I could get the feeling for half the price I might consider it. But at the current price point I can't justify continuous purchases.

Innovative product that does what it says while leaving hair healthier. A little goes a long way, which keeping in mind the small container size. Had to dock a star because of the cost. I feel this could be a good $20 less as it isn't something so specialized that an alternative can't be found!

I have really mixed feelings about this product. When I heard Dyson was coming out with hair products, I was eager to try them. The AirStraight is my holy grail hair tool. I have fine, wavy, color treated hair so it can get a bit unruly and/or weighed down with the wrong products. I was pleasantly surprised that this did not weigh my hair down at all or make it feel greasy. My hair was medium damp when I applied.It's important to note that this is a PRIMER which is not well highlighted. This means it should be one of the first products you apply then any others you can layer on top of it if needed. I do normally use other primers depending on the look I'm trying to achieve and they do help - this one performs similarly to others that I've used that are half the price.I will also add that while this does help with styling and works, it has NO heat protection. If you are applying heat (flat iron, dryer, curling iron, whatever) you will/should use a heat protectant over this.Frankly for the price point I find it pretty inexcusable that it doesn't include a heat protectant.The packaging is cool but overly complicated. It's nice that it's refillable though and magnetic if you want a gadgety feeling container. It's a bit gimmicky IMO.You really don't use a lot of product so for me this will last years. I don't think I would repurchase but I will use it and it does perform well.
