Great value, easy to use
I’ve had a robot vacuum in the past. It was a decent introduction to using one, but it wasn’t too great at its job. So I set my expectations of this robot vacuum based on that experience. Well, this one blows it away. While my old vacuum was able to do some intelligent navigation, because it was all gyro based, it was a bit dumb. The lidar based system gives me more control over where to vacuum. It also uses far more intelligent patterns that seem to be more efficient, moves faster, vacuums better, and has far better battery life. My old vacuum couldn’t finish my whole home on a single charge, while this one has more than 70% battery remaining after doing the whole home. And because it vacuums better, I don’t have to follow up behind it with manual cleaning. The dust bin on the robot seems to be better designed as well, making it so emptying reverses the flow through the filter, effectively self-cleaning it. I didn’t expect to be this impressed with a robot vacuum, especially one at this end of the value model (this is a lower end model).

As Tony the Tiger would say, "They're grrrrrreat!" Great value and functionality.
Great product. Great Value.I ordered two of these, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Both products function excellently. We have mostly hard floors with some large area rugs downstairs, so the mopping feature gets a much better workout there, but upstairs has a couple bathrooms and bedrooms, so it has a mix, with mostly carpet.I am pleased with the performance of both of the vacuum/mop units. My only real gripes would be that it could be a little smarter about working its way under furniture it can't get out from (fixed by marking it on the map, but it seems kind of silly to have to go and mark it) and it would be nice if there was a low water or almost full dirty tank warning, instead of the empty/full notification you get. Not the end of the world, but it would make maintenance easier. The vacuum does a good job picking up the crumbs, dirt, and hair (we have three dogs, a cat, and two sons) and it feels like the mop actually does something. We had a combo unit previously, and it had a pad that sort of vibrated. When you watched it going around, you could see where the floor was wet and where it wasn't. With this unit, the wet trails overlap ever so slightly.I can't speak to its durability, but these have been the best solution for our house. If you are so inclined, they can do multiple maps for different floors, but I didn't want to have to remember to move them around. The whole idea is to have light cleaning done for you that you don't have to do much with, so getting two units seemed like the best solution.

Great in all aspects except for the auto empty function
This is a great choice for a robo-vac. It cleans well, you can separate the parts of the roller to pull the hair that gets caught in there (with other vacs-roomba and eufy it is hard to clean). It is an animal when cleaning, even when something gets stuck in it, it keeps going for the most part. Don't be a dumb dumb, you should still keep things out of its path...or else it will own them. Also, the parts aren't super expensive but very durable ($45 for a Roomba roller vs $18 for this one) talk about economical. The only gripe here is that the auto-empty function does not work that well. It won't suck out all the dirt if the bin is full. Easy way to fix that, buy the cheaper non- auto empty and empty it yourself you lazy cuck.

Exceeded my expectations, would buy again! In general, for $280 price point, a real life improver.
This review is based on the $280 typical price, not the $599 "retail price". For $280, it is a 5-Star robot vac. For $599, I would want more. Pluses: easy to use and understand. App does not require intimate knowledge of computers. You don't even need to use the app unless you want to schedule cleanings - just press the button on top. Self emptying charging dock with BAG so you don't have to deal with emptying dust bins and washing filters. Cleaning is much better than expected. We did NOT want one with a mop since I didn't want to deal with a container of dirty water sitting around for a month. Relatively quiet and relatively intelligent - works around obstacles and avoids cliffs - even updates maps when it finds a clif you didn't mark out. Upside: long battery life, good cleaning, self emptying and charging auto-dock. Bagged dirt collection. Lots of after-market consumable supplies available at very reasonable prices. We have had this for a little over 3 months and have just replaced the dust bag. We don't have children or animals so no comment about issues often reported in those environments for most robot vacs, i.e. "smear" incidents.Down sides: sometimes gets itself trapped in a forest of chair legs like in a dining room, and will snooze until freed. Most of the time it can work itself out, but not always. Doesn't always notice soft obstacles like socks and the like, so you have to tidy up after yourself or else it may vacuum up the sock and stop, complaining of indigestion.
