I recently added WD_Black SN7100 NVMe 2TB to my lenovo loq.Using CrystalDiskMark, I got ~6560 MB/s read and ~6798 MB/s write speeds, which is incredibly close to the advertised numbers (7250/6900 MB/s). Random read/write speeds are also very strong, making this drive snappy for everyday use.Pros:1) Lightning-fast sequential speeds, perfect for gaming, large file transfers, and editing.2)PCIe Gen 4 fully utilized, no bottlenecks on my system.3)Excellent build quality with WD reliabilityCons:1) No D-ram, it uses HMB seen in this budget. High productivity tasks require D-ram.2) Packaging is minimal could be better protected for transit. In my case, there was big dent in between packaging thought it might be damaged.Whether you’re a gamer or a content creator, this drive is a beast. Totally worth the price if you want big storage and high transfer speeds.

I was unsure, but the product was awesome,Ran after 3-4 bootups i dont know why, maybe I installed it a bit loosely.But after the boot up it ran flawlessly. I stress tested it and it didnt heat up and ran consistently.I used SATA earlier but this is damn faster.

The WD Black SN770 2TB SSD itself is excellent — fast, reliable, and delivers the performance promised. However, I was disappointed with the packaging. The SSD arrived in a flimsy and slightly damaged box, with minimal protection for such a delicate component.Given how slim and fragile NVMe SSDs are, better cushioning or a sturdier box would go a long way in ensuring it arrives safe and intact. Luckily, mine still worked perfectly — but it easily could have gone the other way.Great product, but Amazon/shipper needs to improve handling and packaging.

I installed this SSD on my Dell Inspiron 3593 with an i3 processor, and it worked perfectly out of the box. No compatibility issues at all — Windows was installed smoothly, and the laptop now boots up in under 10 seconds!My HDD gave me 50 MbPs read speed and now this SSD gives 3000 MbPs read speed. Love this SSD, got it for 10k ₹ / 200 NZD. The speed is accurate, it doesn't need heatsink because after long and intense gaming the temperature was around 35-36°C. It's compatible with my Acer aspire 7 (76G). SSD looks so good and is original. The storage you get is 1.8 TB which is totally fine because of some cache thing (I'm not a PC geek lol). It was super easy to install as well, just align the SSD in slot at an angle and push it in. You'll hear a nice soft click and you're done, just need to tighten the screw. Cheers 🥂🍻
