Earlier, I initially purchased the 3 Step Little Giant Ladder, and loved it so much and found it so useful, that I permanently moved it to the second floor of my home to handle absolutely every need to need an elevated platform to accomplish any task, even as simply as reaching the upper shelf within a closet and replacing a light bulb. SAFETY is by far the most important aspect in accomplishing any task, as previously any coinvent chair or piece of furniture, such as a soft ottoman, would suffice for the one minute it would take to accomplish the task. I came to realize that the recovery time and cost of a fall far outweighs that convenience of doing thing the quickest. The Little Giant series of ladders come with an extremely wide stair which you can even turn around on with both feet on the same step, but the second most CRUCIAL aspect of the ladder it that it is equipped with a "Pull UP Hand Rail" which steadies you so that you can actually use the upper most step of the ladder.The above experience, while using the 3 step Little Giant Ladder, FORCED me to purchase the 4 step Little Giant Ladder for use on the ground floor level of my home and within minutes of it's delivery I suddenly discovered that in order to install the new ceiling light I had been waiting to install, Without the 4th step of the new ladder, I would not have been able to reach the elevated ceilings of the ground floor area. I was so pleasantly shocked to open my eyes and discover that the new ladder, and it's additional height with the 4th step, was absolutely indispensable.Safety is the first rule in success especially, as it is said, that 90% of all accidents occur at your home!

If you’re getting older and concerned about balance or a professional that needs dependability this is the step ladder to get. Certainly more costly but the strength and sturdiness is worth it. The Large steps makes it more functional. Going longer on size based on a review was good advice. No regrets on this purchase.

This purchase was a gift because we love the one we already have. We call it our "geriatric step ladder". The safety of this is wonderful.

Value for money:great product

Great size for a house.

really stable - so much nicer to stand on and reach - but the support arm needs to be able to go one click less than strait up as it hinders being able to stand on the top step and reach across it. If it was one click towards the back it would enable fully standing on the top and not feeling constrained from a full reach while having the added stability feeling of having the locked bar as well as a few places for screws and drill bits etc. It does take a fair amount of space when deploying but its worth it with the far more safe and stable feel to getting on a ladder.

I am glad I ordered this product. It's been so handy

The Little Giant is great for short stays. Staying too long is better for a scaffolding.
