Bought to replace spent cells in a 1000+ VA UPS. Installed without effort. Charged right up and has been humming along for a month now no hiccups.

Functions as it should

I purchased these as an exact brand/size replacement to what I had in my UPS. Those batteries lasted over seven years, so I am hoping these will last at least that long.

This review was written on 9 April 2025, regarding SigmasTek 12 volt 9 Ah and 12 volt 5.5 Ah with 0.25" tabs installed in UPSs. After buying two PALLETS of identical SigmasTek batteries in 2020 and having really solid results, I went out of my way to order more in September 2023. They were not fresh when they shipped; I complained and I was told they would charge right up when installed. Well, yeah, until a few months after the warranty runs out: Unfortunately those September 2023 batteries are now dropping like flies. I should be getting 3-5 years on these so. Only lasting 18 months is costing my employer a chunk of change. Maybe things have changed in the meantime, I don't know, but I wouldn't order again unless I knew the date codes ahead of time.

The batteries don't have any bloating or are malformed in any way. They also put out the right voltage and seem very sold. They're quality is top notch for it's price point. So is their customer care. Would buy again!
