Excellent unit - looks great, functionally nearly identical to OEM.
Great product. I posted a 7 video review on you tube showing a complete rip out and install of this unit. The pluses - really nice look. Everything looks like it came with the car. The fit was pretty spot on. The minuses - the numbers on the fan speed are a little off, I did need to replace clips with OEM because the top right was out, and the A/C button cluster is a bit loose. In detail - I ripped out the OEM unit and put in a JVC unit, double din. This is the facia that I used. The unit is completely plastic, and the radio (head unit) mounts are plastic. I suppose my only real complaints about this unit are that it came with phillips screws for the two screws that you have to install on your back, looking up. Would be much better with hex head. And, the top right corner protruded a bit until I took out the unit, put the OEM metal spring snaps on in place of the ones that came with this one, and reinstalled. Final fit and finish are very, very nice. Looks OEM.As for people complaining about the control knobs - they are the old knobs. If they don't work, you reinstalled them incorrectly - see my videos on you tube for adjustment. the rest of the components are snap/slide fittings. The only one that wasn't perfect on my was the A/C knob, which is loose, a bit. It works fine, just gives more and moves after you press it.Last point - when I went to re-intall the two screws/bolts that feed in from the bottom up, the hole in the metal bracket in the car and the plastic hole into which the screw threads on this unit didn't match up perfectly, but only slightly. I was able to get the screw started and seat it, but it wasn't perfectly lined up. Just an FYI.All in all, great unit, with a few minor flaws that don't detract enough to warrant 4 stars. Very pleased with the result. If you can't get the top right seated, pull it out, replace the 4 clips near the top right, and reinstall. That worked for me.

A little pricey but works fine
Fit was not factory, but very close. All of the necessary trim and hardware was in the bag and after transferring all of the components over from the stock radio, this one did fit pretty well and was a close match to the dash color. The two screws that come up from the bottom don’t have the same bite as the stock unit, but I’m sure will still hold tight.

Almost great
Fitment and quality are generally good. Main downside is the stickers for climate control aren't exactly the same as original. Much worse quality and different color. Id recommend peeling stickers off your original face plate and swapping them

Looks just like OEM, take your time with this install!
I purchased this kit for my sister's 2007 Honda Fit because her stock radio display was ruined. I read reviews saying it doesn't fit well so I was a little apprehensive to buy. This installation takes at least 2 hours and should not be rushed. There is a lot to move over from the OEM piece (Entire HVAC control unit, knobs, etc) and those metal clips for the dash. Use the original clips or go to a Honda dealership/online dealer store and buy several of each when you buy this kit. The part numbers are 90666-s84-A01 and 77205-S0X-A01. The kit comes with some, but they just don’t work as well as the ones from Honda.I took my time with this and it paid off. There are a few quirks, such as Scosche providing screws for the din pocket if you are using a single-din stereo but none to secure the actual stereo, so I used two from the OEM radio. The metal mounting cage on my stereo wouldn't fit with the dash kit so it had to be removed which is why I had to secure the radio with screws. I found that doing this before screwing the black side brackets down all the way made it easier to fit.Once I patched everything together and got it in it looked good as far as color and snugness etc. There is a small gap around the top left and right but it’s not bad for an aftermarket kit. For what this is, which is a kit to allow you to install an aftermarket radio in your FIT it does a good job and makes you look like a pro provided you take your time!

Bad fitment
This product looked perfect coming out of the box. color match was dead on. The biggest problem however is the fact it doesn't fit with oem quality in the dash. There is a big gap, and a sharp corner that look and feel horrible. For the price, it should fit perfect!

Good fitting !
It fits really well, you do have to transfer all the buttons and ac knobs over from the original one but everything fit like a glove, very happy with it and the finish . 2008 Honda Fit

Replaced my Honda fit 2008 with relative ease
Put a single-din in with this using a youtube guide (forgot title, but is a series of "1 of 7"). If you don't already, you will need a plastic dash pry kit, phillips head screwdriver, and a 8mm hex socket + driver to take the dash out.First time installing? Watch a basic video on wiring a car stereo (it was my first time and it was pretty simple), and get wire connectors (I used crimping but some recommend soldering) and pliers.Total job, as a total beginner, took me maybe 1.5 hours, as I was paranoid of damaging the dashboard. I'm glad I did, because once you're able to remove it, it gets much easier to dis/reassemble in case you want to change things later or change your mind.

The best you can get for this application but not up to OEM fit
Just installed this today. It was between this kit or the Metra dash kit, which seemed to have more negative reviews about fit and finish. While this definitely seems better, the color is still not quite right and the fit isn't up to the OEM tightness- the edges don't sit 100% flush. All said and done though, it's serviceable and wasn't too bad to merge the HVAC stuff from the OEM stereo to this. One note: If you have the OEM stereo, steal the metal clips from it to use along the top 3 posts of this dash kit. The ones it comes with don't hold as tightly and make the whole unit protrude even more than it already does due to the not-perfect fit.
