I think the serum has more hold and it stickier than the cream.

It is plastic. Great product though!!

On the bottle it says "almond," and I hate the smell of most almond products...but this smells wonderful. It's not noticeable when your hair has dried - my husband has never noticed the scent. Don't let the fragrance keep you from buying this wonderful product!
