Does What It Says It Does
First off, I’m a little OCD with my granite counters, or at least I am for a once-a-week deep clean. I’ve been using the StoneTech stuff for about 5 years now as part of my cleaning process. Here is what you need to know about the product: 1) It does help maintain the seal on your countertop. I have extremely porous granite (Giallo Ornamental), prior to sealing the granite would suck water condensation off the bottom of a glass and stain the surface until it evaporated. I did the initial seal with StoneTech sealer, but haven’t resealed since, I’ve just been using this “revitalizer” and have had no staining issues. 2) Over time it does seem to have enriched the look of my granite. When I first started using the product my granite would look great when wet, like it had a deeper look to it; but when it dried it would look… well dry. Now the granite has seemed to maintain that deeper look, this enrichment didn’t happen right away, but over a long period of time. 3) It does not affect stainless or chrome fixtures. I’ve used the product right up against my stainless stove top and chrome faucet with no impact to their finish at all. 4) It does not dry on its own very well. When I apply it, I wet a section of the counter top, wipe it around, and then come back and dry it off with a soft cloth. If you just leave it on, it might look blotchy when it dries. 5) The last batch I purchased was the citrus scent and it seemed to put off a stronger and more perfumy sent then what I’ve purchased previously. I usually buy whatever scent is cheaper (cucumber or citrus), and while I hate eating cucumbers, I think the cucumber scent actually smells better than the citrus… it just smells cleaner. This is how I clean, or at least how I do it once-a-week; daily cleaning is just the distilled water: 1) Using a spray bottle of distilled water, I spray down sections of the countertop and wipe it off with paper towels, believe it or not, the distilled water does a good job removing coffee, coke, grease, and whatever else gets on our counters. BTW distilled water is great to clean computer and TV screens, as well as the plastic shield over your car’s gage cluster, just use a microfiber cloth when cleaning these surfaces. 2) Now that all the crumbs and sticky chunks are off the counter, I spray Everclear 190 proof on the counter and wipe it down with paper towels before it evaporates. The Everclear glides across the counters really easy, allowing you to feel any thing that you may have missed with the distilled water. You can use denatured alcohol, but I prepare food on this counter and don’t wear gloves when I clean; the crap they “denature” the alcohol with is toxic, so it’s a no-go for me. Everclear is also great in spodies, cleaning cuts (if you can take the pain), removing permanent ink, stripping your mouth of every bit of saliva, and blowing fire if you don’t mind the possibility of burning your face. 3) With the counter cleaned with the distilled water, and disinfected with the Everclear, it is time for the StoneTech Revitalizer. I spray it on, wipe it around with paper towels, and then buff it dry with a soft cloth. The results have always been great, and like I stated before it seems to do what is says - revitalize the finish and reinforce the seal.

Slippery when used on stone tile floors after it dries; great for countertops and granite.
I don't want to leave a poor review b/c this really is a great product. I use their bathroom cleaner in my shower that is all travertine and it works great. I just want to warn other customers: I have granite countertops and travertine tile floors. This product works wonders on the granite. I used this on the floor once and it became so slippery after the floor dried that I will not use it again. I had to warn visitors coming over and my poor, elderly dog could hardly walk.

Must have cleaner
This product was recommended by the company who installed our granite countertops. I think it smells really good and it cleans my countertops and keeps them shiny. I will definitely keep using this product.

Good polisher for non porous granite
The product arrived promptly and in good condition. We have a granite counter that seems to be well sealed and we keep it clean so we use this product as a polish more than anything. As a polish it seems to work well. If you are using it on granite, you should know that all granite is NOT created equal. Some granite is a lot more porous than others. If you have a porous type of granite then a commercial grade of sealer - just sealer - is advisable. Furthermore the literature would indicate that for porous granite an oil/solvent based is preferable than a water based product such as this one. You can test the porosity of your granite by allowing water to sit on it for some time and observing whether it is absorbed or not. If it starts to get absorbed you will see the granite darken in that area. DuPont is a very reliable name and their products tend to be very good. It has been my experience that when purchasing cleaning products you are better off spending a little more and getting a well known brand. I believe DuPont has an oil/solvent based sealer if you decide that is the way to go. Note if you use a stand alone sealer you will need to use a separate polisher that can also be purchased from DuPont. I have not used this product on anything but granite surfaces, but granite being a natural stone is one that comes with the most potential for staining. So if this product does a good job on granite i would assume it would work equally well or better on other surfaces.

Good product, strong smell.
It does a good job cleaning and leaves a nice shine on my granite counter top. I do find the smell to be strong, and it's not a scent I especially like, but it does not linger for very long in well ventilated areas.

Do not buy this product. The formula has changed and it’s not safe and nearly impossible to remove.
This product has been marketed for residential kitchen countertops and used by me for approximately 20 years without issue after a recent reformulation it now leaves a persistent chemical film, causing oily smears streaks and rings from glasses and bowls that cannot be removed with normal cleaning. The manufacturer acknowledged the formula change and complaints. No disclosure is provided regarding food contact implications when residue remains on the surface. i’ve also learned that the original formula that I used for over 20 years was not a food safe product even though they advertised that it was safe for counter use.

This is the first product that truly cleans, protects and has brought back the shine on my granite counter tops. After doing my granite the water just beads on top and when I wipe my counter tops down they dry without any streaking! Love this product
