The solar lanterns are beautiful on my deck, they light up brightly and are high quality.

[Update] I got in touch with the seller and they sent a replacement light. Seems like this is a normal problem from the other reviews, so if you do decide to buy the light be prepared to replace it. But it is a really cool light for sureThe shadows are really cool, and this light is a great addition for the porch… for a day. The light doesn’t charge afterwards. It’s solar powered and I’m in Florida so it definitely gets enough sun. It barely lights up anymore and for the little time that it does, it’s barely bright enough to cast shadows. I turned it on to write this review and it’s already off. The metal part probably makes a cool lampshade or something I guess

These throw off a really cute pattern. Worked after a few hours of not great sunlight. I put two fist size rocks inside for weight. The desert winds would send this into my neighbors yard. Love the look of these. Buying a few more for my patio. Not sure how long they'll hold up but hope they are actually weatherproof.

The lantern looks very nice. The construction is well done.But, the light is dim. I get it that the top is only so big and making a stronger light would mean having to have a larger solar panel that won't fit on the top of the lantern. I had to move them to a darker area of my backyard do the light display was a little easier to see.

I loved these lamps so much that I ordered five of them at different times. On my last order, one lamp stopped working after one month, so I contacted the seller who quickly sent out a solar replacement part. Recently, another lamp stopped working after a few months. I contacted the seller and they sent a solar replacement part at no charge! Great customer service! (Happy to say the other 3 lamps have worked faithfully for six months.)

The lantern gives off a soft light that is just what you want for at night outside. I have had it out about a week and a half and so far it is still working. As a side note it is makes a nice pattern on the table.

I enjoyed the look, of the one that actually worked. In the set of two ordered, one of them would not work no matter how long it was charged... I returned the order.

While this doesnt give off a lot of light it makes a beautiful pattern and I keep it out all the time. I've had it for a year and leave it out in most weather (not heavy snow) and it still works. Its very light weight so it will blow over in high wind so I started hanging it on a hook and it has withstood very high winds. Would recommend for ambiance, just not very bright.
