Shark Skwal/D-Skwal/Spartan Visor

Excellent visor as the original was until it snapped.

This is the 3rd visor I’ve had on the helmet, the original, I then purchased a 2nd( can’t remember where I got that) and this one which is the 3rd one. I’ve had the same problem on the previous 2 in that the plastic bit on the visor that connects to the pin lock snaps off, and I’m very careful, personally I think it’s just a weak spot on the visor, so it remains to be seen how long this one lasts, it’s a shame really because the helmet I’ve got is about 3 years old and I love it, it’s a Shark Spartan carbon.

I should have listened to the reviews regarding the D-Skwal helmet, or more importantly the visor. The plastic quality/thickness just isn't up the job, this visor is the second in just over 6 months to have broken where it clips into the securing mechanism. This one snapped on me during a ride, I was just lifting the visor up. Apart from the plastic quality the other main design flaw is that the lifting tab is offset to the left. So when riding and wearing gloves you will always be putting more pressure on that side when operating the visor. I will be attempting a warranty replacement, as 50 odd quid everytime it decides to crumble is no good.

This is the third visor I’ve ordered - my previous two broke. It appears to be a design fault with the stress point on the helmet when you lift the visor. This will be my last visor and I will change helmet brands when the next one breaks.

I have reduced my original 5 stars to one star because after a short period of careful use this visor cracked in exactly the same place as the one I had just replaced. Obviously a design flaw, as noted by several other reviewers. Rather than buying yet another one of these visors (at £50 a time), I think I'll just buy different helmet with a more reliable visor design.

Fitting snapped as soon as I attempted to remove the visor from my helmet to fit a pin lock. Terrible quality.

This visor was bought the first week in July, and has been used approx 35 times before breaking. Not great quality and not cheap either.

Évitez les modèles de marques hasardeuses, SHARK connaît son travail et le fait bien. Néanmoins, un modèle avec anti buée déjà intégré et un prix compétitif serait le bienvenu. Les motards sont des vaches à lait, c'est bien connu...

Das Visier funktioniert einwandfrei (man kann also durchschauen :D ) Ist soweit ich sehen kann original. Sehr gut verpackt gewesen ist heile angekommen.Gerne wieder.
