SANNCE 8CH POE CCTV Security Camera System, 6MP Network Video Recorder PoE 8 Channel NVR with 4x 3MP Outdoor Security IP Cameras, NO HDD

As an experienced CCTV engineer i have come across several cheaper options that fail to deliver, and the most expensive are not always the best believe me. I have installed this in my own house and i am thoroughly impressed with the results. The night vision LED is a single, so it is very focussed straight ahead, which lets down the use of the wide 3.6mm focal length on the lens, however, it's still very good and clear. Human detection works - i have push notifications on my android within 5 seconds. The network setup was absolutely fool proof - no issues whatsoever - scan the QR code, set up an account and i was online, via 4g in under 5 minutes. Android and apple apps work absolutely fine. If you know what you're doing, you can set the alarm light to activate upon detecting a human so its like a mini floodlight warning! Also you can change all the colour settings, night vision, sensitivity, motion detection, intelligent operation and the list goes on. The manual is aimed at a DIY installer and the default settings should see most people right with the odd fine tune maybe required. Lens hood could be longer to shield from the elements, but, in previous experience the hoods become a foundation for a spiders web, time will tell on that one! POE makes installing the power much easier and it's only one cable to run. Deffo recommend this setup

Great little system for the home and fairly easy to install - use PoE so just needs an ethernet cable to each camera. Images are good with a pretty good zoom feature, record and playback. I'm sure there are better systems out there but for the money I'd day this is pretty good value

The main set up works well,but I cannot set up to my phone as the system does not recognize my SKY router. I've tried emailing the company and they have sent emails back but it still doesn't work. Sky also tried but to no avail. Picture quality is good but I brought it so we could use on our mobile devices away from home. There is no UK help line or phone number to call .They are based in China so not much help.

The QR code would not work for me to download the app but it's called xmeye on android. Once downloaded put in your username (phone or email) and password and input a few manual details such as your IP address and port no and your good to go.

Camera system very good and easy to set up. They app is a bit more complicated. Had to download the XMEye app which works very good.

I brought this system as my old system could do with an upgrade,. Firstly upon opening the box, there was no cables to connect this system, a bit frustrating. Luckily my existing system has the same cable connections, so I connected it using my existing rj45 cables. Upon initial set up, I could not register. After numerous times to attempt to recieve a code which was never sent to my email address. Fortunately I managed to set the system up using the QR code. Upon setting the cameras up, they stipulate 5MP. This will only give you 6 frames per second which is completely un-watchable and very poor quality when movement is detected. The zoom function quality is terrible. The night vision is actually quite good. The system also will only record human movement if you enable the setting within the app, this is frustrating because day/night a white led illuminates and there is no way of turning the light off. This new system is far more inferior quality than my pervious system which is now 4 years old. I will be requesting a full refund..

Had this for a few days now and very impressed! It is literally just plug and play. Went for the 5mp cameras and very glad I did. The motion detection is a little fiddly setting up as there are so many options to choose from. Been running this over TP-Link home plug rather than plugging in to the router. Works great. Overall all though, absolutely brilliant. Would recommend.
