GREAT juicer
I had a juicer by this same company for 25+ years & the only reason why I think it died in the end is b/c I let it sit on the shelf for a while b/f starting to use it again a year or so ago--my husband said disuse will kill a machine like this. So, when looking for a new juicer last year, I decided to look a the same company given its track record and the fact that a friend who I know juices a lot uses this brand & loves it hands down over many other juicers he's tried. I also really liked the price of $79, which I noticed has since gone up to $109. So, since purchasing it 10 months ago, I have been juicing a head or more of celery every single day. I LOVE this juicer. It is very powerful, smaller than my previous L'Equip, easy to clean, hasn't hesitated for a second while grinding up head after head of celery, and extracts a great quantity of juice. As other reviewers have mentioned, its powerful little engine does a mighty jump when you turn it on b/c this unit is smaller & more compact than its predecessor, but you soon learn to keep your hand on it when you switch it on. Maybe wait until the price drops again, but I definitely recommend buying this

My travel juicer!
I have two other juicers that I really like, One masticating with dual gears for wheat grass and other greens and the Breville http://www.amazon.com/Breville-JE98XL-Fountain-850-Watt-Extractor/dp/B003R28HWQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1414971715&sr=1-3&keywords=juicer which works GREAT also! Problem was the Breville was 850 watts and since I was camping frequently this summer I found that I had gotten off my healthy eating habits for camp food, ENTER THE L'Equip... at 480 watts I can use it with my Black and Decker power inverter/battery jumper in the back of my truck. I wasn't expecting much since I have two very nice quality juicers with higher power but this little guy does the job just fine. I was very surprised at how well it handled the greens in addition to the carrots and apples etc. It doesn't come with the juice catcher which saves space when traveling, You can use a short glass or I used one of my camping stackable pots which fit nicely under the spout and had plenty of room to catch everything I wanted to juice. Happy juicing!

Inexpensive, easy, sturdy
I'm using this juicer several times a day on a variety of vegetables and fruits. I would have given it 4.5 stars if that were possible.PROSVery easy to assemble and disassemble. Easy to clean. Sturdy, although there are two little plastic bits that set the plastic top in place that could conceivably break off if not packed or handled with some care. Never gets clogged. Pretty quiet, considering it's a juicer. Small footprint on the countertop.CONSThe only con I can see is that the pulp is a bit wetter than other juicers I've used, so maybe in the long run, it's not quite as cost effective. But I really didn't want a huge, difficult-to-handle new appliance. Some other reviewers have found that bits of pulp go flying around because of the small gap between the juicer and the ejection container. I haven't found this to be true at all. No pulp or other veg matter has ever spewed outside of the container of the unit I have. Some have had difficulty finding a cup that fits under the juice spout. I'm not sure why this is. I use a traditional glass measuring cup and it works perfectly. Then I just pour the juice into whatever glass I want to drink from.All-in-all, if you want an inexpensive juicer that does a decent job making juice and is easier to handle and smaller than most, this is your machine. If you've got more money, a bigger kitchen, and spare time or spare hands to clean a more complicated machine, you may want to look elsewhere.

L'Equip Juicer
The product was delivered as described. The packaging is good. I bought this as an inexpensive alternate to a pricey Omega. This product works well, except in two ways, but not deal breakers:1. Sometimes, depending on the vegetable or fruit, you have to mush the item down into the food area rather firmly. The strategy is to learn which foods are more difficult than others and figure out either combinations of foods to put in at the same time or to follow a particularly tough food by an easier food. Some tougher foods would be bok choy stems or mushy (older) kale leaves. These can be followed or combined with trusty easier veggies such as celery or carrot.. easy fix.2. This juicer produces slightly pulpier juice, so I juice everything first, pour into a pitcher, fill glass with ice, and use a tea strainer when pouring from the pitcher to the glass. You'll have to use a spoon to stir the contents of the strainer a bit once it starts getting clogged. When clogged, wash upside down under sink, and repeat. Doing this, you get get smooth, pulp free juice! The machine is a little smaller than the Omega. This is good because smaller form factor means easier storage. This is not so good because ejection container in rear can fill up quickly. Minor trade off.Oh, another tip... I use the clear plastic bags from the fruit market to put inside the ejection container to catch all the pulp. I also wrap/fold the bag from the back over the top of the machine to catch any flying veggie debris also. If you don't do this, the machine will make quite a mess! When done juicing, empty larger material left inside juicer into bag, tie up bag and throw it out! In addition to not having to clean the ejection bin, this prevents fruit flies in the garbage pail too!To give you an idea of what types of things I juice and what this machine can handle, my typical juice recipe is beet, celery, carrot, ginger, kale or broccoli, cucumber, bok choy, and half a lemon with skin. Remember to wash all veggies and fruits before use, but for most foods, leave skin, pits, roots, etc in tact... all the more nutrients.Money vs performance, this thing is good.I would order again. I would recommend this product.

Five Stars
Great juicer, easy to clean, not very good for leafy greens, but still quick and simple.
