Cooling not particularly great but does help in a very small space

Spring is here. The temperatures are rising and I need to cool down. New fan is in order.This rechargeable, bladeless, table top fan looked like a great deal and problem solver.As a personal fan it is okay but it did not "blow me away." It certainly could not cool a full room, but on your desk or night stand it would be enough for 1 person to enjoy. The size is decent though and doesn't take up a ton of room like some fans can.The fan did come with a decently long USB C charging cable but not a brick (but doesn't almost everyone have a few here and there?)After unpackaging I noticed it doesn't feel like a premium product but more a low cost cheap plastic feel. The seams were uneven and rough enough to scratch if you aren't careful.It is light and easy to carry around to where you need it. There are 4 speeds (not 5) but the controls are simple: power on/off and speed button.Being bladeless is a good safety feature if you have littles or pets around so no fingers or paws get harmed.While not as noisy as a fan with blades it does get a little louder as you increase the levels/speeds.The description says "this fan ensures hours of uninterrupted cooling" we found the battery life very short at 2-3 hours at most if on a low setting. So if you need something to last all day/night you will sadly be disappointed.It is good if you don't have other options at hand but be prepared to charge it frequently.

Great little fan, quiet and powerful

The fan would not work. Even after a full charge the fan would not run...

However, its airflow is weaker than expected, even at the highest setting, which limits its effectiveness in warmer conditions. This is not the best fan in the world, by any means. It does work well for the purpose of cooling 1 person, and 1 person only. It has 5 levels of fan speeds to choose from. Level 5 is a circulation mode that goes up and down each speed level for a few seconds, which is a little weird to me and is nowhere near as effective as levels 1 through 4 in cooling me down. This fan is not as noisy as a fan with blades. It does still make noise though, and the noise gets a little louder as you increase the levels. I have placed the fan on a table beside my bed, and the noise helps put me to sleep. The noise from this fan has never awakened me from my sleep. The fan is light and easy to carry around. As you charge the fan, a green light appears on the front but no percentage is shown. I don't know if there is a way to know when the fan is fully charged because the green light always stays on while charging. I have never seen any color but green, and the green light never goes off. There is also no way to know what percentage of charge is left when the fan is used without being plugged in to an outlet or power bank. In my opinion, the price of the fan is reasonable as long as you are only going to use it for yourself, or give it to someone for them to only use it for themself. This fan is hand operated only. It does not come with a remote control of any kind. This is not a fan that will cool down an entire room. It will cool down 1 person.

This fan is a pretty nice desk fan that blows air pretty well but it won't "blow you away." Despite saying the fan has 5 speeds, it really has 4, with 5 being changing between speeds 1-4. It comes with a decently long USB cable for charging. It feels a little plastic-y, which isn't bad by itself, but it doesn't feel like a premium product. As far as the wind blown, it's not super strong, but good enough to keep you cooler at your desk. I can't really compare it to blade fans since I've used blade fans that are both stronger and weaker. If 10 is industrial, and 1 is a personal 4-inch fan, this is probably a 3 or 4, so good enough for just one person, but definitely not enough for a full room. The controls are simple, power button, and speed button, that's it. While it isn't loud, it definitely isn't silent either. It's quiet enough to not annoy other people, but not quiet enough for, say, a music studio.Overall, it's acceptable as a personal fan, but don't expect it to cool even a small room. Because it claims 5 speeds and the ability to cool a room, I'm taking away 1 star, and a second star for the price. I think it's worth around $10-15
