With the Quaid-i-Azam during his Last Days 1st Edition

It was disappointing reading account of Quaid's last days. The author adds little to already known facts. There is no mention regarding his diagnosis. There are references to important people who wanted to visit or who visited Quaid during his last days but no information regarding who they were or what transpired. It is a poorly written document which gives you an impression that you are reading pages of someone's diary (detailing Quaid's daily activity, temperature, apetite etc.) which serves no important purpose and is of little interest to students of history. I would give two starts only because it does shed some light on Quaid's character.

This book is a historical narration of the life of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, during the last two months of his life when he was ill (July 1948-September 1948). It is a gut-wrenching book for a Pakistani like me to read about the suffering of the father of my nation. God bless his soul.Lt. Col. Dr. Elahi Baksh, MD, was his lead doctor, who was assisted by quite a few other doctors and medical professionals. Dr. Baksh was the Principal of the world famous King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He passed away in 1960, and was proclaimed by one of his contemporaries as the real father of King Edward Medical College and of modern medical education throughout Pakistan.
