Works well. Good price.
I have a set of iPhone ear buds with a lightening connector for my iPhone 11. I recently traded in my iPhone 11 for an iPhone 16e, which has a USB-C port for ear buds. This adapter works well for connecting my lightening port ear buds to the iPhone 16e.

Does not work on my s22 Ultra.
Does not work on my S22 Ultra. When I plug it in it says Analog USB devices aren't supported. I tried troubleshooting for about an hour. I guess this doesn't have a DAC or it's defective. Returning immediately.

A solution in search of a problem
Since there are several options available, I want to clarify this is for the lightning to USB-C adaptor.Which, in all honesty, is a bit of a solution I'm not sure anyone is looking for. USB-C is superior to lightning ports in terms of data transfer, charging speed, durability, etc... So who is this for exactly? If you have an old pair of wired apple earbuds and want to connect to your new USB-C iPhone, this is for you. And for that specific use it works ok. Sound quality has noticeably less fidelity than the apple lightning headphone dongle, which is about a perfect DAC. So this works but I'm not sure why you'd use it. A USB-C headphone DAC will give you better sound quality to a standard 3.5mm plug headphone. I don't know of any IEMs, or standard headphone other that apple's old version, that come with a lightning plug. You wouldn't charge through this as a direct USB-C cable to your USB-C plug would work more efficient with one less device. Build quality is quite good, with a heavier cable and well designed boots with good strain relief cuffs. So, one the very off chance you have an older set of Apple wired earbuds with the lightning plug and really want to use them for your new USB-C phone, then this will work Ok. Though honestly you're better off getting a USB-C DAC for less than $10 and KZ zero:2 IEMs for $25. You'll get far superior sound if you really want to stay with a wired headset.

Sound L/R balance issue
I purchased so I could use my lightning connector headphones with my new iPhone 16. The sound balance slowly moved from center/balanced to left to center/balanced to right continuously. Tried multiple apps -- music, youtube and 2 audiobook apps. All the same balance issue. No iPhone setting made a difference. The headphones work fine when plugged into lightning devices, so can only assume this adapter is the issue. Going to return.
