Truly Awful
Think the author must have been paid by the number of words used in this dull, repetitive book. Complete lack of any meaningful details or guidance. Poorly laid out and a complete lack of illustrations. Save your money!

Great for Urban Gardeners
I’ve read several books on hydroponics, but The Complete Guide to Hydroponics stands out. It’s super practical, packed with creative ideas, and makes growing your food feel doable—even if you’re short on space or new to the game. I especially loved the tips on maximising small urban areas and making your setup look gorgeous while still functional. Whether you’re a curious beginner or looking to level up your hydroponics game, this book delivers. Clear instructions, great visuals, and real results. Highly recommend!

Inspiring
I’ve been curious about hydroponics for a while, and this book gave me the push (and the knowledge) I needed to get started. It covers everything—from the nutrient solutions to different system types—and explains why hydroponics is so effective, especially in small spaces. It’s both educational and inspiring!

Only information that be covered in 1 10 minute youtube video. Nothing about being visually stunning. No images of practical projects for understanding

This book is a great find. It is well organized and well written. It does a good job of explaining Hydroponics, and the various types of systems. It covers how to set up a Hydroponics system for your particular space, with all of the various components. It then touches on how to properly manage all the typical aspects involved in a Hydroponics operation, such as water quality, plant nutrients, plant selection, seed propagation, etc. The book ends with a thorough look at how to troubleshoot possible plant issues. The book is well organized, and broad in scope—a good place to start for anyone interested in growing your own vegetables with limited space, while conserving water and resources.
