Dell 130-Watt 3-Prong AC Adapter with 6 ft Power Cord, Barrel Connector

I've been using this cord for a year now and have had no issues. I have been taking care to tuck the cord under my laptop in such a way that it doesnt cause a sharp crease near the port (bc thats where my factory cord split and i dont want to cause unnecessary wear on the port itself).My pc is an Inspiron 15 7000 btw

I spent $3k building a custom laptop for school and work only to have a charger come with it that broke within a week. The casing warped and tore and exposed the wires. For the last 4 years, I've had the old charger wrapped with electrical tape because a new one would cost me around $300 from the company even WITH the warranty... Insane...This charger was a life-saver. It wasn't stupid expensive and it fit perfectly. My laptop actually holds a charge now, and it charges way faster. The block isn't gigantic like the one that came with the laptop, yet it has the exact same make as the last one. It's a little shorter than what I'm used to, but a foot shorter is way better than potentially shocking my children every time I have to use my laptop for work or school...Better yet, the shipping was amazing. It arrived way faster than projected, which saved me missing the deadline for a paper I had to write for school.

One day, I was on my Dell XPS laptop and my charging cord stopped working. Frustrated at the thought that my cord needs replaced, I rushed to RadioShack as fast as I could to replace it. Buying my new $65 charging kit with multiple heads, I soon found out it didn't give off enough power to charge it. Even more frustrated now, I asked my tech friend to direct me to what kind I needed, he directed me and found the exact same cord that I had for a decent price on Amazon. Without hesitation, I bought it! The charger was sent in a fast paced delivery and was exactly the same as the one I had previously. Perfect!The product itself is a 3 prong charger with wraps for when you are done using it and want to put it away neatly. The charger comes into two breakdown pieces that you can remove. One of the wraps is on the battery itself and wraps the port for the laptop. The other wrap is for the cord that plugs into the wall. Easy to use and put away when needed.Altogether, if you need a computer charging cord for your Dell XPS like I did, then this is your baby. This is an OEM power brick for Dell laptops. It will work where many aftermarket, no-name bricks will not. Just match the Dell part number on your dead brick to the part number on this unit and you'll be all set. Recommended.UPDATE: Just purchased two more. The connector at the laptop end tends to fray and unravel. Will probably look at shrink-wrapping to slow it down (and train my wife to grasp the plug correctly before she yanks the cord out).

I purchased this cord back in July 2020. Now, I have to order a new AC adapter because the charger port is breaking apart and it's not trying to charge my laptop anymore. So, I end up ordering another adapter AC from another seller. Although, it lasted a year and some change; I still think the ac adapter is a good product. Although, My original cord lasted longer than that. When I got the ac adapter, all of the parts where there and they work just fine. It fit my Inspiron 15 7000 laptop with no problem. I would recommend this product, but I would say just because it didn't last longer than I wanted it to doesn't mean it won't last longer for someone else.

Excellent purchase. The product arrived in perfect conditions. The most relevant: It works perfectly with an old 9-cell Dell battery and a new 6-cell generic battery in my Dell laptop L502X. It charges continously without issues 'till this day. I should have bought this thing years ago!

I go through these chargers almost like clockwork. Right after the 1 year mark / warranty they die on me or the cord frays at the laptop end and it becomes unreasonable to use. So instead of spending the $89.99 Dell charges on their site I decided it time to buy a new one on Amazon at less than half the price. Unfortunately that was an expensive mistake. The "new" charger I got sparked at the outlet end every time I plugged it in. I tried different outlets in different houses and tried surge protectors, but it didn't solve the problem. I was dumb and didn't return it (and still used it) and before I knew it I was outside of the return window. About 2 months after I purchased it my motherboard died. It may or may not be related, but worth mentioning. I contacted Dell about their warranty (on the charger) and they said they will only honor warranties when products are purchased directly through their site. Further upon inspection, the charger started to fray on the laptop end as well, again after only 2 months. Save your money and buy directly from Dell and avoid the costly mistake I made as I am now out a laptop and a charger. Not worth the initial savings or hassle it has caused. I purchased my charger in New condition from seller "ChapterXVI"

I can't tell if this is an original cord or bootleg. Lol! It looks like the original cord I have at the office. I needed a second one for my home. I don't like going through all that unplugging and wrapping up things. I want to unplug and go home!
