I installed this outdoor double socket today in my garden, and I’m really impressed. The build quality feels very sturdy, with a proper IP66 waterproof rating — the cover seals tightly and gives confidence it will withstand rain and dust. The 3M lead is long enough to give flexibility, and the switch is easy to operate even with gloves on. Installation was straightforward, everything I needed came in the box, and the instructions were clear. I’ve already used it to power my lawnmower and outdoor lighting with no issues. I got this because of the hassle to vacuum and jet wash the car. I had to have the door open with a wire extended. Now this is installed (cold winter) no more letting the heat out. So lets get to the Pros and Cons. Pro Comes with everything you need to install it, wall plugs, cable grabbers etc. rubber seal for water protection plus it clips shut when items are plugged in (So cool) Easy to install. I am NOT an electrician and didn't need to look at the fitting instructions once. Cons I've yet to find something bad. (Excellent product), I will be buying another one for the garden. If you are considering getting something like this I would highly recommend this one.

Easy to fit , has all the accessories to fix, be careful with the sealing rubber it’s a little bit thin and can pop out if the cover is not level when fitting to the base.

I’m very pleased with this double outdoor waterproof socket. It feels well made and sturdy, with a solid IP66-rated weatherproof cover that gives good protection from rain and dirt. Installation was straightforward, and all the fixings and space inside the unit made wiring nice and easy. Once fitted, it looks neat on the wall and the lids close securely over both sockets. Easy to install, comes with everything needed to fix to an external wall and has weatherproof ports for cabling in and out which can be fitted either side. I think it should be waterproof but I added some sealant just to be on the safe side. All in all very much recommended for diy installation of an outdoor socket.
