Ingenious battery free coffee with its ups and downs
Having used the wacaco for a few days I was convinced this would be the answer to my office coffee tribulations. The practicality of this non battery powered, very well made coffee machine is great, if you were out and about and wanted to enjoy hot coffee this is your perfect partner.Things to note that I have found in using this product:- The water tank does not act as a thermos: so if you were hoping to load this up and head out with a cuppa later on, you’d need separate access to hot water or a flask alongside your wacaco.- The pressurised pump button is eventually quite challenging to pump once the pressures built up. Which might be difficult for some to use. Also the outcome of having the pressure built up means that it’s quite difficult to aim the coffee in the Espresso cup without it spotting and splashing everywhere.- Once the coffees been made and you have your cup, you won’t be disappointed. However you will need somewhere to stick it! It will drip and dribble everywhere (which is less useful at your office desk!) so be prepared to be able to leave it somewhere for a minute whilst you enjoy your coffee.- The ingenious design allows for ground coffee which is a pain to clean out of the mechanism. Alternatively you can opt for the NS capsule option which as water is pushed through the pod will naturally hold water but is marginally less fuss to clean up.- The standard tank on the machine is diddy and will generally make a restretto (1/2 espresso). If you were hoping for an espresso you can either run the machine through twice or alternatively purchase a separate larger water tank and cup set. This will then do a full size espresso cup.- The downside to this is that you then end up with needing half a suitcase for all the various options, additions and extra bits you will need to make your perfect little cup of coffee. However if you’re happy with just a tiny shot of lovely coffee and don’t mind a little bit of mess and effort in the process then this gadget is fabulous!

Nice-looking product that works
I bought this because I travel a lot and want to shave off costs on coffee purchases (which I consume in copious amounts), and so far so good. The espresso tastes real good, it produces crema too. It takes a bit of hand strength to pump the espresso, but I see that as sort of morning exercise (lol). If I had any negative comments at all, it would be the fact that it can be a messy ordeal (post-pump) and slightly hard to clean.

Stylish & Functional
The Wacaco Nanopresso is awesome. They've done an amazing job of creating a portable espresso solution. I've tried a few other options...this is easily the best of them. The Yellow Tattoo version was sold out in the United States everywhere that I looked, but I was determined to find it. Amazon sells it on the co.uk site, and shipping was reasonable.

Well built, makes a good espresso
I was sceptical at first when ordering this, since it is pumped manually, but after a bit of trial and error on the amount of coffee used, getting the right grind consistency, it produces a very good alternative to a traditional espresso machine. Best part is you can take it anywhere, and it is easy to clean too!

Portable and great coffee
Bought this for my son who works aboard a ship and likes a brew without the problem of getting into his uniform and getting to the mess. He loves it and he says makes a better espresso than expensive machines. Portable in a good travel case. Thumbs up all round

Great coffee maker
Great little coffee maker if you like espresso on the go, you do need hot water though, I’ve used it when we have gone to stay at cottages and at work. Bit messy to clean, but then anything with coffee grounds is.

Makes great expresso coffee.
Was a bit sceptical, but really pleased with results. Use in office environment and taken on trips to hotels. No more rubbish instant coffee in these places. Easy to clean and use. I brought the barrista accessory for double expresso shot.
