VIVO Mount-E-FD85 Electric Ceiling Mount for 40" to 85" Screens, Motorized VESA Mount Large Flip-Out Large Pack, Black

We have this on our outdoor TV and it works awesome. It is a very slow rise and drop but definitely worth it for what we needed. Previously we had a manual one which posed quite a hazard dropping the TV from the ceiling. Now we just push a button and it comes down which is quite amazing with the weight of the larger TV's.

Works very well, looks fantastic and was surprisingly easy to mount.

Installation sur Samsung Qled 85po. Fonctionne comme un charme. Instructions d'installation pas très évident.... Et même des vidéo en ligne sur ce produit pour l'installation c'est très incomplet. Vous devez utilisé votre savoir faire et être débrouillard. Mais j'ai réussi en prenant mon temps et il fonctionne VRAIMENT bien ! Je le recommande ! 🙂🙂🙂 Alain.

I originally ordered a 85" TV to go with this mount, but the VESA mounts were so low on the 85, that even with extensions, the TV would hit the ceiling. When I shopped for a 75, I looked for VESA more in the middle of the screen. I hung this in my garage in front of my overhead door. I have a side opener, so I have open space. My rafters are 24" on center and this mount is designed for 16" on center, so I had to get creative with the mount. I spanned the rafters with two 2X4s. On that I mounted 3/4" plywood and mounted the mount to that. That extra step of adding the plywood made mounting the mount super easy. On top of that, I have a void above it, which is a great place to conceal wires. Leveling TV in down position is easy, but when it's fully retracted, the TV hung crooked. I contacted customer support, and they said that there is no solution and that is normal. I knew I could take the mount apart and change the length of a strap, but that seemed like a big pain, so what I did was I took a strip of Gorilla tape, about 1/2" wide and 10 or so inches long, and put it on the back of the low hanging side, closest to the top pulley and on the inside. This was just enough to change the diameter of the wrap as it went up and leveled it perfectly. It's a great mount for the price and I would definitely buy it again.
