Awesome deal.
Very nice saw. Works very well. Used on logs, branches, 2x4's, and OSB plywood with great results. Cuts very well and is versatile and convenient. It's worth having several if you have trees/gardens or go camping often. No rust yet after several uses and minimal cleaning, also still nice and sharp. No complaints with this guy. Will buy more if needed.

Chainsaw replacement for small jobs.
Never used a Silky, but this saw works great. You can take down small trees in seconds or minutes. I used the Bear Saw extensively before this one. This blade is wider and much more rubust and durable than the Bear Saw. My Bear Saw is missing lots of teeth. This one is missing none after plenty of rough use. Maybe the Silky that this one is imitating is better, but this is a very good saw and for the price well worth buying gor anyone who needs to prune trees or tree branches. For small jobs this can totally replace a chainsaw. Won't be going back to Bear Saws for cutting trees after using this.

Sharp As A Razor
This thing is a wicked weapon and out-performs all of the other bow saws I've used.

Excellent saw!
After 4-1/2 years of abuse on this saw; it still cuts great! I'm not easily impressed but this saw definitely has done that. Cut into the dirt and hitting rocks on multiple occasions and it still cuts fine. Not as good as when it was new, but it still does the job. I have a brand new one but will keep it stored until this one gives out. Great product, I hope Forester keeps up the quality.

Works great for the money
For the money (3/4 the price of the equivalent Silky Saw), this thing is really good. However, you will notice a difference in things like handle finish and the quality of the sheath (both much better on the Silkys). Also, strangely, the one I got did not come with a lanyard hole like the one pictured.

Everything I like about a silky saw at about half the price.
I got this after reading that it had comparable performance to the silky folder I already had, including being a substitute for a small chainsaw. So when I got it today I decided to give it a quick tryout on a length of seasoned 2"x2". The first thing I noticed, that I had not seen discribed in the reviews, was that, like a silky, it did indeed cut only on the pull. The next thing I noticed is before I had finished the thought about it cutting on the pull, I was through the 2"x2"! That little beauty had went through that wood like a hot knife through butter. It was almost freaky how little effort it took. So yeah, I like it. I may even buy another. I may update this later after spending some time on my woodpile.

Bought this over the Silky
I love this saw. Worth every penny over the cost of a $12 folding saw. Very sharp and sturdy. I use mine every weekend. I also have used this in central America cutting bamboo. The belt loop on the scabbard is very useful.
