Adore Semi Permanent Hair Color - Vegan and Cruelty-Free Brown Hair Dye - 4 Fl Oz - 078 Rich Amber (Pack of 2)

I've used this semi permanent dye before on my medium brown hair. This was the first time I bleached it before using it. I love the color options and how vivid they are. The consistency is a bit too liquid but I mix it with conditioner about 50/50. For this I used mainly pink rose with a couple drops of intense red mixed with white sulfate free paraben free conditioner. Bleached my haif almost to the scalp using ion cream bleach and ion 20 volume developer but left some roots unbleached. I did 2 rounds of bleach and not all color was lifted some was white, some yellow and some pinkish. I had previously used a boxed dye about a month ago and regularly dump semi permanent dye on my hair so I wasn't surprised that it did not all lift. I Let it sit for about an hour and a half with a plastic disposable shower cap. It didn't take to some areas, maybe I didn't get them idk so 2 days later I did a second application and let it sit for about 3 hours. I really love how it turned out. I get many compliments and people shocked that I did it myself, with the help of my husband.

Seriously amazed at how vibrant the color is and how well it took to my hair! I can't speak for the lasting power as I just dyed it last night, but the process was easy and I was able to get all the color off with no staining.I'm not marking it down for this as everyone's hair is different, but I will say that some of the colors may not work for you as they have for others.First picture shows my natural color, which I would call an ashy dark blonde. I wanted to go for a dark brown so I ordered the color Mocha. Since I was gong to a darker brown from an ashy blonde, I read that yous hould first do a warmer color as a base to combat the green in the dark brown. I ordered the spiced amber - - going by the swatch, that looked like the closest to my natural color but just a bit warmer.Well, it turned out to be A LOT warmer. I used the entire bottle and just saturated my hair. Left it on for only 20 minutes.In the 2nd and 3rd photo, you can see that the Spiced Amber turned out looking more like the Ginger color on my hair. I hated it. I immediately followed with another shampoo, and then coated my hair with a combo of conditioner and the color Mocha. I used about 2/3 of the bottle for this. I left that on for 2 hours and the last 2 picture are the result.So obviously the base copper color was not needed here and when this all washes out, I'll just use mocha on its own. I like it more than my natural and I'm still very impressed with the priceand quality of this product!

Definitely leaves a vibrant color I've had it for I think a month or two and it hasn't faded at all I even used a little bit of purple shampoo in the second picture to try and bring out the blue and minimize the green tones... Absolutely love it and will be using this brand again to dye my hair other colors... The only thing is I would recommend what I did anyways was I mixed it with conditioner and applied one coat and then I had applied a top coat with just the dye just to kind of feel out and see what kind of tone I want because it will still work if you mix it with conditioner and you want a desired different tone... It will wash and fade out more if you use the direct color I noticed when I used the conditioner mixed in with it oddly enough it faded less...idk why when it's usually the opposite for me. Also my hair is I think an inch or two past my shoulders and I only needed one bottle because of the way I had did it (mixing it).

Color is called Violet Gem and is nice but looks more red than purple when applied to my formerly blonde hair. Still, it looks good and the price is half that of other similar brands. No mixing or using bowls - just put your plastic gloves on and apply to your hair with your fingers directly from the bottle, which contains enough product for two coloring sessions on shoulder length hair. Overall, it's a great product and there are many different colors to choose from and mixing different colors together could result in interesting and unique new ones. At this price, creativity is affordable!

I love to color my hair every so often in different colors!!!!!!!This picture was one of the times I colored my hair in multi colors and it came out so perfect !!!!!!!!The first I didn’t use gloves to color my hair and ended up with colored hands that tuck time and nerves to get off but every other time I used gloves and it was great to also have nice hair and also have clean hands!!This semi permanent hair color doesn’t ruin or dry the hair so I can use it whenever I feel like it!!!!

FYI I left blonde money pieces in the front, so that part doesn't have to do with this review.I mixed Adore purple rage with violet gem equal parts. I mixed extremely well right before applying. The pic with hand on face was directly after dying and leaving in cap. I can't remember if I left it in one or three hours. It was one of those two. Other pics are after a few shampoos,so staying power is strong.Pic with strand tests is left side just purple rage, and right side just violet jem, on platinum base.It was a nice dye, just washes out blue then green, which is my nightmare. Now I'll have to go through a whole damaging color removal treatments to get green out. I don't know if you can see the green in images.So if lasting power and price matter most to you, and you don't mind surprise outcomes or fades, it's a great dye. Disclaimer, it DID stain my entire tub purple like no dye I've seen. Still unsure how to fix that mess. I did not take the tub staining into consideration for the review. I just am unhappy it is turning green. :'(

My usual brand is Kiss Color Tintation which I love, but my color wasn’t stocked. Tried this one instead, and it’s similar in price plus the brightest color I’ve ever seen on my hair! The staining is much worse on the bathtub though, and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling soft like the other. Still great for the price!

Apple Green turned out to be the perfect color i was looking for. It's very vibrant and essentially neon... looks amazing, but even better in sunlight. There's no filter on the photo, that's the true color on hair that was naturally a medium blond, lightened to pale yellow. The Adore itself is a gel, which makes application so easy.All in all, as you can see, very satisfied!

Haven't use it yet but love this product.

I love this product it is amazing! It is really easy to use , it might get messy , but I love how good is on my hair and how long it last , the colour stays on for a long time

Love it! Vibrant pink.Was very easy to put on, I didn’t heat dry it I just left it on for about 30 min and rinsed. Happy with the pink color
